If I could wear boyfriend jeans everyday, I probably would. Β What am I saying… I basically do! Β This is what I wore to my friend Emily’s book signing. Β I wanted to be dressy but not too dressy, and I wanted to be casual but not too casual. Β Boyfriend jeans + blazer + heels = the solution to my problems.
The Style Rx: Β Get your dressy casual on by topping off boyfriend jeans with a smart blazer. Β Add heels and statement jewelry for added effect. Β BTW, a white tee and blazer are perfect for the summer!
Happy Monday! Β Hope y’all are doing well this week. Β We are headed to NY for 4th of July and I’m SO EXCITED!! Β This will be the first time to go on a ‘big boy’ trip with the little one. Β I should probably bring ear plugs for passengers around us on the flight. Β Let me know if you have any other travel tips!
Love this look! Definitely the perfect mix of dressy and casual!
And hehe, that’s funny about the earplugs. reminds me of a thing I saw where parents passed out little bags with stuff for people on their flight from the child. Earplugs, candy and a note saying ‘sorry if I am loud’ or something like that

LOL!! I LOVE that… I didn’t have time to put together a “Sorry I’m Loud” care package but what a great idea! Maybe in the future!!

Thanks Jen! I was a little hesitant to buy these BF jeans at $59.95 a couple of years ago, but based on cost-per-wear, I definitely got my money’s worth. I hope you can find the right pair bc they are extremely comfy!!
I have been leaning more towards classic & simple looks and this one is definitely amazing. I have been on the hunt for a white blazer, but have no found the perfect one yet.

Hi Casey!! Thank you. It IS hard to find a white blazer. This one is from a vintage place (that is now closed) but I’ve also had good luck at Forever 21 and BCBG. I like the cute of their blazers!
Love the blazer paired with the boyfriend jeans! :)
Hope you have fun in New York, and that baby boy enjoys his first flight! I don’t have any tips sorry (other than the obvious make sure he has something to suck on during takeoff/landing), but I admire your bravery taking him along. I’m sure you will all have a blast! :)

Thank you Miss Pippi!
A verbal apology before flight takeoff to your surrounding passengers goes a long way. All of my children have at one point or another cried, whined, pooped or peed before our destination was reached. Sucking on something will help with popping ears, gum works for older kids and adults or holding your nose and blowing. I’ve only had one issue flying when my kids were small, my seat mate looked at my breastfeeding as something filthy during takeoff although all he could see were my daughters fat little feet kicking furiously. I asked him if he eats in public toilets?? LOL
Thanks for the tip Nicole S! We were lucky because everyone was really nice and he did pretty good!! :)
