On the opposite spectrum on red and brights for Chinese New Year, I love the idea of winter white. However, winter neutrals seem to fit my lifestyle better. I’m messy with my food! {I will own a winter white suit one day… I always imagine the glamorous Bianca Jagger.}

My penchant for soft, muted colors attracted me to this dress in Forever 21. Because of the simple shape, it’s great for layering in winter or wearing with sandals in summer.
