Christmas is less than a week away, and New Year’s Eve is right around the corner. It is one of my favorite holidays for dressing up! You have EVERY SINGLE excuse to wear something with sequins and shine. Why not be sparkly and glam? Sequins? CHECK! Metallics? CHECK! Rhinestones? CHECK! Any embellishment? CHECK CHECK!

Like a moth to a flame, I caught a glimpse of this sequin jumpsuit and it was in my cart (when ordering my oversized sweater for this post). BTW, it’s currently on sale for $70. The relaxed fit reminds me of something that belonged in the 70s and Studio 54, and I can envision Grace Jones slinking around it something like this! The sequins are shiny but understated so you won’t look like a disco ball. Since the side ties are adjustable, it can be worn at the true waist (as I have shown) or lower.
THE STYLE Rx: Get glitzy and glam for New Year’s Eve with sequins and sparkles. If a jumpsuit is too much for you, then try a pair of rhinestone earrings or an embellished clutch! It’s the little things that count!
I love that you have the option to show more or less skin with this jumpsuit. ONE // Wear a tissue turtleneck or slim-fitting bell sleeve sweater under it for a posh and modest look! TWO // Wear a padded lace bandeau bra (as I did) or bralette for an easy but chic look. THREE // Wear stickies for a more minimal and provocative look.
Since it’s usually chilly in Dallas, I topped it with a faux fur coat which also happens to make a stunning entrance and exit look! Plus, you can never go wrong with statement earrings, and these oversized chandelier earrings definitely say HAPPY NEW YEARS! (Just don’t let a little one get a hold of them!) Would you believe that they are less than $50?
After the holidays, the sequin jumpsuit can be worn more casually. Pair it with slip-on sneakers and a denim jacket for a fun running-errands look. Or get a little edgy with a moto jacket and booties. Again, throw a turtleneck or tee under it so you take off your jacket and still get things done!
What are you wearing on New Year’s Eve, and what are your plans? Share in the comments so I can vicariously live through you! LOL! We will probably be hanging at home watching Netflix and possibly stay awake long enough to watch the ball drop. #parentlife!
Happy Wednesday Darlings! How is your week going? I’m finishing the Christmas decorations (the house is a mess right now) and getting the menu set for Christmas Eve. Plus, I’m brainstorming on what to get for the kids! I know, I know! I’m just that late on EVERYTHING!

Thanks Meg! LOL! We, honestly, will probably doing the same and I’ll likely be in PJs! But I SO LOVE dressing up and wanted to wear this outfit to Mr. S’s Christmas party and ended up wearing something else (that off the shoulder top and pants from my last post)!
Those earrings are amazing. XX, Pippi

That’s a stunning jumpsuit! :)
I already know I won’t be staying up for midnight on New Years eve, haha! I haven’t managed it in a few years, so New Years Eve will be like every other night for me sadly, no fancy outfits! Maybe when the kids are older and I magically have more energy, ha!
Good luck crossing the last things off your Christmas list!
