It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’re styling WORKOUT CLOTHES!
For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!

Aren’t these photos of us doing the tree pose so hilarious?! In case you couldn’t tell, we had an absolute blast taking these photos! We talked about wearing workout clothes for this post, and I LOOOVVEEE how everyone had their personal take on it!
My exercise of choice is yoga, regular yoga. I haven’t tried hot yoga yet even though my mom swears by it! Lately, yoga is my warm up before doing some strength training (since I’ve been working with a personal trainer) three times a week if I’m lucky. Anyhow, I’m pretty boring when it comes to workout gear.
I like things simple. Most of my tops have the built-in bra so I only have to worry about one thing on top, and I usually wear black or grey leggings. This time, I’m wearing a black top and cut-out leggings. The oversized cardigan is old but perfect to throw on after yoga. If I’m running errands after yoga, I’ll throw on my Adidas Superstars. They are permanently tied and I just slip them on!
Side note: On trying NOT to be boring… I found some blingy yoga gear when we were in Vegas from Phat Buddha! Not gonna lie – I got the glitter top and leggings which look like I could go clubbing in instead of working out! They are so fun but not itchy (like I thought because of the metallic threads). But I’m SO EXCITED to wear them (separately so I don’t look like a crazy glitter lady in Fort Worth!)
Of course, you can’t forget the actual gear. One of my BFFs gave me that S’well water bottle. They are SO FANTASTIC at keeping water ice cold which is so refreshing after a workout. And I LOVE that yoga mat holder because it has an attached case which can hold keys, iPhone, and a small wallet.
Don’t the gals look AMAZING?!! You HAVE to hop over to Cathy’s blog. Her hoodie says, “Kinda Sorta Maybe Forgot to Work Out” which cracks me up. She is not the biggest fan of working out! LOL! Heather looks fabulous in that slimming plum legging and black top/jacket. She works out EVERY DAY alternating yoga and tennis, and she is so fit! I hope I can look like her at that age! Natalie’s outfit is the COOLEST!! I WISH I looked even a smidgen of that cool skiing! Where do you even find gear like that?! Natalie is also an athlete and used to play soccer.
What’s your exercise of choice and what do YOU wear?! One of my friends only wears black so she doesn’t have to think about matching. (That’s what I do for work!)
Happy Friday Friends! Mr. S is out of town, and I’m working on a fun project today. I can’t wait to share with y’all later! We are going to be hanging out this weekend. I’m trying to come up with some crafts for the kids on Saturday morning. What do you have planned?

My workout gear is so incredibly boring, haha! Your leggings look so fun! :) I used to do PT sessions before I was an accident and re-injured my knee, then I got pregnant…I really need to get back into exercising properly again!
Hope that you are having a great week and that you have a nice weekend ahead of you! We will probably have a quiet one as we are all still a little unwell.

Oh no Mica! I hope y’all get better soon!
Well, thanks for saying my leggings were fun! I just started so I can try to stay healthy for the kids. I’m trying to practice that “self care” I talked about bc we (moms) have to take care of us so we can take care everyone else.
Ooh I love Natalie’s purple and blue combo! I’m not much of a workout girl but I’ve had to start doing some stretches and strength training for my knee. Finally went to the doctor about it after YEARS of it bothering me…blegh. Ha ha.

Right?! Natalie’s gear is SO FUN!!!
That’s exactly why I had to start with a personal trainer this year – because of my knee! I hear ya! (My hubby is a doctor, so he’s the one who’s been telling me what to do and I never did it!)

I love the Kate Hudson line called Fabletics. New store opened in Legacy West. I do Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, and meditation 5 days a week. I am 64, so I need 2 days to recover lol. You guys are so cute together! Always look forward to Chic at Any age. It’s how I feel! My best, Charlotte
Wow Charlotte!! 2 days to recover is AMAZING!!! I only work out 3 days a week (and that’s recent)! KUDOS to you! I hope to be that active at 64!! You are an inspiration!
And I’ll check out FAbletics! I think Demi Lovato was promoting that line too!
Amazing post!!! For a proper workout, workout clothes are essential. Including the leggings or T-shirt, the sports bra is also an essential thing during the workout. It not only supports your breast but also protects it from sagging and gives you a perfect shape. So It’s must to choose the best quality bras only.
