Love your sandals my dear !!
If you wanna see some Moroccan Kaftans (the blue one is my own design) plz take a look at my last post right here: http://ginger-chocolateandhoney.blogspot.com/
This is a great look for a charity event. I agree, it’s better to be over dressed than underdressed. Love the turqouise necklace contrast against the black maxi. Heather
this is definitely casual chic!! love the blue accent :D
Looking fantastic Sam. I typically overdress for everything so you did it right! Your makeup and hair look so pretty too
You look great! And I love that bag of yours *drools* I’m *almost* always overdressed but so far I haven’t been to any ‘casual chic’ events ;)
I totally agree with your friends that its better to be slightly over dressed than under dressed. Love the way your outfit turned out and glad everyone way safe, because that looks like a major collision.
That’s crazy! At least you looked super cute through it all :) I’m definitely in the overdressed rather than underdressed camp, and I think a maxi is perfect for casual chic :)

Awww, you look awesome Sam! What you wore was perfect! That picture of you and the Le Freak members is priceless. HAHAHA Glad you had a great time. GLAD no one was injured in that train wreck. Things happen so quickly and what an inconvenience. Just joined your FB page. :)

You look adorable in that iPhone shot!
I think you looked fabulous and appropriately dressed.. I would’ve erred on the side of caution and gone dressier.. I’d rather be slightly overdressed than underdressed! I personally see it as respect for the event…plus, who doesn’t enjoy playing dress up?! :)

Hmm to a casual chic event…that is hard! Usually I’ll do a fun sequins top with jeans or a simple black dress with jewelry. Sam, I seriously cannot get enough of this fab Chanel bag and the turquoise jewelry is awesome :)
So glad no one was hurt. You look beautiful! The hair, makeup and clothes come together so beautifully.
I hate ambiguous dress codes….but you look fantastic. Sounds like it was a fun event.
Thank you Marlene!! :o)
Thank you Bessie!!! I’ll have to give the fun sequins top a try (after seeing you)!
*blush* Thanks Kim! Super glad no one was hurt. Oh thanks for the FB page update too! :o)
LOL!! Always good to look cute when there’s a disaster going on – I like it!! This maxi has been a lifesaver many times!
Thanks Liv. It was a major collision!! I never expected anything like that! It was really fortunate that no persons were involved. Apparently, some of the trains are controlled remotely (no person in it)?
Thank you Jennifer! I do tend to overdress for everything too! In fact, one time I went to a party that called for “festive dress” and felt like I was wearing a “prom dress” compared to everyone else! Since then, I’ve been a little more conservative about overdressing! LOL!
Thank you Heather! So true – overdressed is better than underdressed!
Thanks K! It definitely makes it hard when the dress code is questionable! We did have fun though!
