It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’re styling this gorgeous MICHELE Sidney diamond bezel watch and a snake print cami!
For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!

I’m pretty set in my ways when it comes to a timepiece, unlike Mr. S who is a watch man. He has quite a few in his collection and changes them out daily. A few years ago, Mr. S gave me a watch for my Christmas/Birthday present, and I wear it EVERY day and change it only on special occasions. You may even call me a watch snob or loyalist because I don’t even look at other watches. But when this beautiful MICHELE Sidney diamond and two-toned watch came my way, then I was happy to add it to my rotation!
WATCHES AS AN INVESTMENT PIECE
It was in Germany when I first discovered the importance of time pieces and how they can be an investment piece. Mr. S and I were there for his medical fellowship, and we were at a party chatting with some of the people he worked with at the hospital. I complimented a lady on her watch, and she thanked me. Mr. S recognized right away that it was a special piece. I was clueless. Immediately, she opened up about it and revealed it was more than $5000, but she LOVED it and wore it every day. It was going to be passed down to her daughter. She talked about the history of the brand, the mechanisms, and so much more.
Watches had always been a fashion piece for me as I just enjoy the beauty of so many things. At that time, I literally had probably 20 watches at home to match the different colors of my outfit, mood, etc. They were random watches given to me and/or found at Marshalls or Target. There is definitely NOTHING wrong with that!
It’s just that the Germany conversation changed my whole perspective on timepieces! I hardly wore those other watches that I owned. Watches are one of Mr. S’s favorite, so I’m lucky that he gave me such a special watch. I felt like I was truly “adulting”! LOL! Anyhow, I have edited my timepiece collection to ones that I truly LOVE and hope to pass to Baby M when she gets older.
ABOUT THE SIDNEY WATCH
One of the big differences that I noticed with the MICHELE Sidney watch right away was how much lighter in weight this watch is compared to my other watch. The bracelet is thin (14 mm) so it’s easy to wear and can be interchanged to a leather band. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the gold and silver metal because I can pair it with any of my other jewelry!
Besides loving the beautiful diamond bezel, I have always been a fan of any watch with a mother of pearl face. It elevates the white and matches everything! By the way, there are 150 hand-set diamonds total on the bezel and hour markings. You know I’m a more is more girl, and I’m all about the bling!
The Sidney watch comes in so many different options with rose gold, gold, and silver metals, leather and metal bracelets, and with or without diamonds. There’s something for everyone!
A WATCH FOR ALL AGES
Watches are jewelry and definitely follow trends. One of the things that I LOVE about the Sidney watch is how elegant and classy it is while being ON trend, not too trendy, so it will pass the test of time. The actual watch face (called case size) is 33mm which means it is a great size for most wrists, not too big or too small. And I mentioned earlier that the strap is 14mm wide, again a great width for most wrists! As you can see on all of us, it looks FABULOUS and CHIC on every age! :)
WHAT WE WORE
Animal print is a huge trend this season (as mentioned in this post). Cathy and Heather found this snake print cami, and we decided to wear it with black! Honestly, it would be beautiful with brown as well. That’s the wonderful thing about animal print. It’s a neutral.
To elevate my look, I wore a long tuxedo blazer. It’s an oldie but goodie from the Isabel Marant x HM collaboration years ago. I’m still loving high waisted jeans, and these Reformation jeans added a fun flair with the uneven hem. Even though I’m wearing snake print, I love how the pearls of the Butterfly Belt contrast with a nice femininity and go with my pearl hoop earrings.
Now, let’s talk about what the gals wore…
Cathy is wearing my favorite black Veronica Beard blazer and distressed skinny jeans. Heather is so chic in a scuba moto jacket (so versatile) with her straight leg jeans. I decided to go with a tuxedo blazer and my Ref frill hem jeans. Natalie looks so chic and edgy in her moto jacket and ripped jeans! All the same but different!
Which Sidney watch is your favorite?! Obviously, we are all fans of the dual tone diamond bezel watch! LOL! I also love the pink strap!

Happy Monday Y’all! This was such a HOT weekend! Luckily, we do swim lessons so we had that as an activity for the kids! I’m getting ready to head to Naples, FL tomorrow for SOMA’s 15 Anniversary Celebration and I AM PUMPED! I just have to finish work and then head straight to the airport to make the cutoff for check-in!! Wish me luck! If you have social media, then you can follow along on Instagram or Facebook Stories!
