HOW TO STYLE THE BEST BOYFRIEND BLAZER
Hello, GlamFam! Today we’re sharing the chicest check boyfriend blazer with a removable hoodie insert adding an edgy vibe. This year in particular we’re seeing more oversized jackets and boyfriend blazers on the trend list and I’m such a fan. Plaid and check patterns have always been seen as a staple pattern come fall and winter each year, so this jacket was a must-have wardrobe addition since it checks all the boxes. The versatility of this check boyfriend blazer is endless as you can wear it dressed up and polished or dressed down and casual.
This is where the hoodie insert comes into play! Zip it in for a more laid-back style and zip it out for a more sophisticated business-appropriate look. If you’ve been following the ladies of Chic at Every Age for a while, you know we are all Veronica Beard lovers through and through. This boyfriend jacket we’re all wearing today is one of the best Veronica Beard dupes and the most budget-friendly one I’ve seen! Plus, it comes in three different colorways!
Let’s talk about the outfits!
I paired my boyfriend blazer with a simple white cami that I wear a ton under lots of blazers and jackets. It is a simple staple piece that comes in several neutral colors. Since this blazer is easy to dress up or down, I thought it would be fun to wear these edgy vegan leather paper bag pants by BB Dakota (past season). If you’re looking for faux leather pants that won’t break your bank, I highly recommend these too! For a dressier and more sophisticated touch, I’m wearing older Celine heels, but these are a great alternative by Sam Edelman.
By the way, I am wearing a size SMALL but could have gone with a size EXTRA SMALL for a more fitted look. If you are going for a more oversized look, then go with your regular size.
THE STYLE Rx: A boyfriend blazer is an easy one and done for fall and winter. Just add a dress or jeans, amazing booties or pumps and you are ready to go!
Onto the group outfit details! I love that Natalie and I had the same idea with our faux leather pants. She paired her blazer with faux leather leggings and combat booties to create the perfect fall look. Heather is wearing a white bodysuit and a faded black pair of straight-leg jeans. And of course, Cathy is wearing a patterned top underneath a patterned blazer which I absolutely love. She pulls it off so well! Such great looks all around.

HAPPY Monday GlamFam!!! Hope your week is off to a great start! We had a great weekend because it was much less crazy than last weekend – Hello Dallas one-night staycation, Quinceanera, and Halloween all in one weekend! We had family time, let the kids catch up on sleep, and went to the Zoo together. It’s starting to get crazy again because it’s the last quarter of the year, and holidays are approaching. I’m NOT here for that, but will be trying to keep things calm (if possible)! HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND?!
Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting SOS!
