HOW TO STYLE THE BEST HOLIDAY TOP – HOLIDAY LOOKS FOR 2021

Hello, GlamFam! Today we’re sharing the prettiest holiday looks for 2021 including my gorgeous velvet halter top for any upcoming holiday event! The festivities are quickly approaching, so now is the best time to start thinking about what you’re going to wear to all of your holiday parties! This year, you will be seeing lots of velvet, sequins, leather, and metallic – all so good for any and every occasion. My personal favorite? Velvet! Velvet is a material that has been around for years and is statement-making and chic. Dress it up with heels or down with your favorite sneakers. The versatility is endless!

Let’s talk about the outfits!

I paired my halter top with a pair of chic faux leather paperbag waist pants that I wear with tons of other outfits during the winter. My coat is vintage, however, I found a similar one I love for under $200 that’s perfect for any holiday occasion thanks to the fur faux collar. To bring out the fun and festive vibes, I went with Cinderella clear pumps by Good American that I wear all year round.

The velvet top would be fabulous with jeans too for a fun juxtaposition of feminine and edgy! Plus I love how you can wear it TWO different ways – crossed (like me) or uncrossed (like Cathy)!

THE STYLE Rx: Be merry and bright in a velvet for the holidays! Pair it with neutrals or sequins. Either way, you’ll be holiday chic!

Onto the group outfit details! I love that Natalie and I had the same idea with our velvet halter tops and a pop of color. She paired her top with a sequin skirt for a perfect holiday look. Heather is wearing the same top as Natalie and me, however, she went with the blue grey shade and faux leather leggings. Cathy is wearing velvet and sequins creating the perfect duo! I love that she and Natalie paired bold patterns together.

SUSTAINABLE STYLE: My coat is From Grandma with Love! The collar is what makes it so unique, and then length keeps me warm. When shopping for vintage coats, you can get an oversized fit to wear sweater under and throw over your shoulders for a chic look!

HAPPY Thursday GlamFam!!! This post was supposed to be up on Monday, but you know how things go this season! Hope your December is off to a great start! Last weekend, we had fun-filled days starting with Breakfast with Santa, Nutcracker Tea for Baby M, and then Mr. S’s holiday party! We also did our annual hot chocolate & Christmas light drive. It seems like the parents enjoy more than the kids! LOL! DO YOU HAVE ANY ANNUAL HOLIDAY TRADITIONS?

This weekend, I’m excited to do nothing! LOL!
