Every year, the Neiman Marcus Spring Trend Event is one of my favorites to attend. It didn’t happen last year, so I was excited to get an invitation to the fashion brunch this year! The invite list isn’t known, so it was such a fun surprise to see Cathy (The Middlepage) and Heather (So Heather) there. My friends Tiffany and Bonnie were the other attendees, and it was a wonderfully intimate gathering! There was so much goodness that I’m sharing this guide to Spring 2021 trends with you, and I’m breaking it down into clothing and accessories.

Robyn Chauvin, the Neiman Marcus buyer for couture and designer apparel, brought out all the newest looks that arrived on the floor. I truly loved them all and it put me in the right frame of mind for Spring. Also, it made me want to travel to somewhere gorgeous with all of the fun and colorful looks. I hope you enjoy the cliff notes version of our fashion presentation and glean some inspiration for Spring 2021 trends.

SPRING 2021 CLOTHING TRENDS
OPTIC WHITE
I love a good seasonal wardrobe switch-up – especially when it’s winter to spring! Like a breath of fresh air, the color white is such a refreshing transition from a warm-weather wardrobe. From white sundresses and blazers to white denim, you can never be wearing too much of this optic color in the springtime.
THE NEW KNIT
Thanks to 2020’s loungewear trend, we’ve been seeing more and more pieces made from knit material coming to light. If your mind goes straight to casual when you hear the word knit, think again! This spring it’s all about sleek knit dresses, lightweight sweaters, and more elevated loungewear you can dress up or down.
ROMANTIC FLORAL
Wearing florals in the spring has been familiar and on-trend for many years, and 2021 is no different. If you know my style, you know I’m all about a pretty print when it comes to fashion, so I truly adore a romantic floral flare. Florals are all about having fun with fashion and embracing the romance and joy of springtime.
ARTISANAL DETAILS
Artisanal prints and details are coming to light this spring in ways we’ve never seen before in fashion. With accents that draw inspiration from nature and other cultures, artisan pieces make us really appreciate the artistry in clothing. If you’re wanting true artisan pieces, there are so many amazing brands out there that design sustainable, hand-made clothes. The beauty and skill that goes into artisanal details is so inspiring and beautiful!
THE STYLE Rx: When it comes to Spring Trends, there is something for everyone. Color lovers and neutral mininimalists can rejoice in the options for the season! From optic white to pops of color, you can express yourself on-trend.
SPRING 2021 ACCESSORY TRENDS
LAYERED JEWELRY
Stacked accessories has always been a simple, never-failing look that elevates any outfit. From delicate gold chain necklaces to chunky wrist stacks and bracelets, layered jewelry allows you to freely express your style! Layering and stacking jewelry is a way to easily add glam to an otherwise stale outfit. And, to state the obvious… jewelry will never go out of style.
POPS OF COLOR
Like a fun, bold print, adding a pop of color to your spring wardrobe is all the rage (and one of my personal faves)! This dress is seriously to die for. If you aren’t used to wearing bright colors, tap into your playful side and I promise you will see a positive change in your mood. Spring and summer are all about happy hues!
FLATS & SLIDES
Alright, ladies… shoes without a heel – music to your ears? Me too! From top flats and rattan espadrilles to strappy sandals and colorful slides, it’s time to invest in a few new chic yet functional styles of the season. There are so many amazing flats and slides to choose from when it comes to spring, and you can wear them with anything!
SNEAKERS
Ahhh, the infamous sneaker trend! Step boldly into spring with versatile sneaks to take on all of your adventures. White sneakers are definitely my go-to, however, there are so many fun ones out there. Wear them with your elevated loungewear to run errands or your fun sundress for a night out – they’re super easy to dress up or down.
After the presentation, we had a chance to try on some looks and I gravitated towards all the outfits shown. Guess what?! A few pieces went home with me that day and are now part of my Spring wardrobe. Can you guess which pieces? I’ll share after the pictures!
The black sweater cardigan dress and white lace top went home with me! The cardigan can be worn as a dress, open as a long cardigan with a cami and jeans, or half buttoned as a top over shorts/pants! It is so versatile. I’m really just a sucker for optic white and that fabulous lace detail won me over!

Happy Friday GlamFam!! I’m so happy it’s the weekend! We had a fun event on Wednesday and FINALLY got to visit the inside of Little M’s school for Fine Arts Night. His teacher joked that it was like “Meet the Teacher” but in April! LOL! I really like the school that he is attending this year, and he is thriving (even with the major amount of homework) which makes us so happy! And I’m MOST excited because we get to see my little brother tomorrow and it’s been over 6 months. He moved to Dallas, and we are going to visit his new apartment and then have lunch! WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS WEEKEND?
