Nothing gets me like a good floral pattern – whether it’s on wallpaper, throw pillows, curtains, or clothing! {You can see my floral obsessions HERE.} When I love a piece, it makes me happy. And that translates when you’re wearing the clothes. It’s the power of the flower!

This is one of my fave thrifted vintage finds. Is it me, or do I say that about every piece in my closet?! It’s part of a set, and the top is an off-the-shoulder ruffle number. I’m thinking major 80s which is making a comeback! Maybe you’ll see the top in a future post!
Florals are pretty classic, so a vintage piece can look modern. Keep that in mind the next time you’re thrifting. Even though we did these pics before the cold hit Texas, it would be easy to “winterize” this outfit. Just add a jacket – something like a velvet would be a great texture – and swap out the heels for knee high boots or tights and booties. Voila! {Actually, that’s my answer to winterizing anything. Just add a jacket and boots!}
Style Rx: A floral piece is a great way to add color or dimension to your winter wardrobe – whether it’s something small like a necklace or major like a coat. It’s sure to help you beat those winter blues!
