It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’ve teamed up with NYDJ to bring you the UPLIFT jeans!!
For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!
The 20-something // Brooke of One Small Blonde
The 30-something // ME!
The 40-something // Heather of So Heather
The 50-something // Cathy of The Middle Page
Photography // Mary of So Then They Say
Um, I am absolutely IN LOVE with these jeans!!! Like most Asians, I have NO butt!! (Yes, it’s a stereotype, but it’s true!) These jeans make me look like I’ve got some good junk in the trunk! Hallelujah!! What makes them so special is an Optic Pocket™ seam that creates the illusion of a higher and rounder derriere! AND they feature NYDJ’s signature Lift Tuck® Technology on top to help lift and suck in my food baby tummy! YAY! {I’ve been stress eating lately and really do have a food baby! Ha!}
Mr. S said that wasn’t fair because you don’t know what you’re actually getting… until the jeans come off! LOL! ;) BTW, I’m cracking up (in the above picture) because that’s what happens immediately after trying to “look cool”!
Be sure to size down 1-2 sizes for the best fit. I normally wear size 26 or 27 in jeans, and I’m wearing size 00. If they came in petite sizing, I would try 0P.
THE STYLE Rx: Find #ThePerfectFit with the new Uplift jeans. Your rear view (and significant other) will thank me!
Cathy is preppy chic in that tie-necklace blouse, tweed blazer, and black booties! She went for the darker wash. Heather is rocking the off-the-shoulder sweater in this season’s color of the moment, burgundy. (I can’t get enough of it!) I decided to go 90s glam with a black top, bomber jacket (the one from the Nordstrom sale), and black velvet choker. Brooke kept it casual and cute with a longblush cardigan and taupe booties.
Do you need some help in the rear? Can’t we all use some help?! How would you wear these Uplift jeans?
Happy Friday All! I’m so happy the weekend is here. It’s a bit embarrassing, but I’ve been cramming all of my pharmacy continuing education credits into this week since my license expires at the end of the month. I went to a pharmacy conference in April, and I FORGOT (WTF!) to submit my hours for credit before they were due! So I’ve been working on close to 30 hours of CE’s this week. #momlife #soMADatmyself
Anyhow, we are going to be enjoying some Halloween activities with the kids! Little M will be a superhero. It waffles between Spiderman and The Green Lantern depending on his color preference that day. Baby girl will be a strawberry! :) What are yall’s plans for the weekend?

Aww have a wonderful Halloween – whatever little M decides he wants to dress up as on the day! :)
I really like these jeans – they are awesome on you and the bomber jacket is just perfect with them! I haven’t bought myself a pair of jeans in a while, it’s hard to find the perfect pair so glad these work for you! :)

Thanks Mica! He is such a funny guy!
Good for you for not buying any jeans… I know you are trying to be good with shopping (as I am)!!
Ooh I love the jeans! The high waist is great and love that it hides food bellys. I have one too, been eating way too much chocolate
