It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’re wearing HOLIDAY DRESSES!
For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!
The 20-something // Brooke of One Small Blonde
The 30-something // ME!
The 40-something // Heather of So Heather
The 50-something // Cathy of The Middle Page

Tis the season of holiday parties and gatherings, and we are showing y’all some fun ideas and the best holiday dresses to sparkle and shine in December. We separately chose our dresses, and it’s so fun to see what the gals showed up in!
THE STYLE Rx: Don’t be afraid to get glammed up for the holiday. This is is your time to shine! If you are wearing something sparkly, then go all out with the makeup and hair for a full glitzy look. Or keep it sophisticated by pulling the hair back into a low chignon and opting for a bold lip or eyes. Either way, you’ll be the talk of the party! :)
If you know or have been reading this blog for awhile, then you know about my GOLD obsession. Something about that gilded touch makes me gaga! It’s no surprise that I immediately knew this was THE DRESS for me this holiday! It is silhouette-hugging but isn’t too revealing because it’s long sleeved and floor length. BTW, I did pin the neckline so it wasn’t too deep. It can also be stitched easily. I’m only 5’4, so I MUST wear heels with it (or have it hemmed).
Of course, I wore my Kendra Scott birthday earrings with it (barely off my lobes if possible). And I found a Lana Blake necklace LOOK-FOR-LESS at Target!!! #TargetDoesItAgain! It was down to nude, gold, or black bag and shoes. I went with a black clutch and peep-toe booties for a more edgy look. You’ll see how I wore it slightly different soon!
Don’t you love how gorgeous the other gals looked?! Cathy is shiny and bright in that metallic pleated dress. Heather is on trend with the velvet mini dress and OTK boots. I love that Cathy and Heather both wore jackets over their dresses. Brooke looks so pretty in that sparkly two-tiered dress.
Which one is your fave dress? Do you have a fun holiday event to attend? BTW, I purchased this dress for Mr. S’s annual holiday party, and it’s at a cowboy bar this year!! LOL! Well, maybe I can get the dress hemmed and wear it with cowboy boots!

LOL Mica!! With cowboy boots… I know! I think that I can ruche the sides to make it shorter and wear with the boots! If I did that to the slit, it would be obscene! LOL!
I hope you are having a wonderful week too! Didn’t get to shop as much as I wanted bc Little M was a little sick and we had some late nights, but I found a NYE dress on Cyber Monday!
Oh no hope your son’s feeling better! Great you managed to grab a dress! :)
Everyone looks amazing!! I really love Cathy’s dress, the mix of metallics is perfect
