THE BEST LITTLE BLACK DRESS
Hello, GlamFam! Summer is finally in full swing which means that it’s officially dress season! So today, Chic at Every Age is sharing tips on how to style this classic and super versatile little black dress. We love this dress because its simple, comfortable and fabulously flattering. Not to mention, you can find it in several different colors online! With so many colors to choose from there isn’t an event or occasion that you can’t wear this dress for!
One of my favorite things about this dress is that it features a v-neckline and ruched seams for a universally flattering fit. Plus, the dress is crafted from a soft ribbed fabric so you can look fantastic AND feel comfortable at the same time. I wore a size small but definitely could have sized down for a more snug fit. I love simple black dresses like this one because they can be worn at any time, any age and can be easily dressed up or down!
This LBD super versatile but it’s also so much fun to style! You can style it for any occasion or mood, whether you’re going for a classy, sophisticated, mysterious, or elegant look, this dress is the perfect starting point! I styled my dress with a chic Louis Vuitton bag, stylish natural heels, and some fabulous cat-eye sunglasses. For jewelry I went full glam with a neck scarf, layered gold necklaces, stacked rings and, of course, some Budha Girl bangles!

Heather is wearing her dress in a stunning light blue color that I absolutely adore! She’s styled it with a cute jean jacket, crossbody Chanel bag and some cute neutral sandals. For accessories, she chose some stunning gold necklaces, matching delicate anklet, stacked rings and some chic aviator sunglasses! The perfect casual look!
Next, Cathy complimented her little black dress with a matching black quilted tote bag and some amazing chain strap sandals that I love and have! She kept her accessories simple but elegant with a long chain necklace, a few cute rings, gold bangles and some classic sunglasses. This versatile outfit could work for both a date night or a day at work!
Finally, Natalie chose the same gorgeous blue color for her dress as Heather and I love the differences in how they styled them! Natalie styled her dress with a sleek white handbag, some cute beige sandals and some stunning tortoise cat-eye sunglass! To complete the outfit she accessorized with some gold hoop earrings, a few cute bracelets and some layered gold necklaces. This casual look would be perfect for a brunch date with your best gals!

Happy Friday GlamFam! The kids have been at camp this week, and I’ve been doing some MAJOR cleaning of their bedrooms and the playroom. It’s been a full-blown Marie Kondo over here! While I was in my son’s room, I found a chest in his closet with TONS of empty candy wrappers!! Immediately, I sent a picture to Mr. S! LOL! When I asked them about it later that evening, they said it was from “last year and a week ago”. So I clarified, “Last week?” My son told me that it was last year “when they were babies”. Ha! Anyhow, that was an interesting surprise!
This weekend, my brother-in-law and his son arrive in town. The kids are SO EXCITED to see their cousin because he didn’t go with us on the Corpus Christi trip this year. It will be a fun week! Until the next post!
