For those of you that just tuned in, From Grandma with Love is a weekly series that is one of my faves! I’m lucky to be the recipient of my Grandmother-in-law’s beautiful wardrobe. She owned so many unique pieces, and I’ve had the MOST FABULOUS time styling it on the blog. It’s a win-win for me because I ADORE vintage and a fun excuse to wear it!
This is one of MY FAVORITE looks from Grandma. I’m pretty sure I say this every week. My MIL went through the front closet and pulled out some AMAZING coats and jackets. I was in suede Shangri-la when I laid eyes on this jacket! It’s even reversible to a leather side.
The 70s are having a moment, and I’m taking full advantage. To make this more of a casual look, I wore a Victorian blouse and flare jeans. What a crazy but good combo! I was inspired after seeing Erin in our NYFW Blogger Photo Shoot.
The Style Rx: Flares are a year round staple. Wear them with an off the shoulder top {seen here} for Summer or with a high neck blouse {as above} for the colder months. Top it with a suede trench, and you’ll be set for Winter!

I do love my skinnies, but I have a pair of flares I love to death as well. I just don’t wear them as much as I would like because I have to wear sky high heels in them, haha
