You know how much I love thrifting! This weekend, I was thrilled to find out that The Vintagemobile was in Fort Worth! This awesome green bus is full of vintage treasures. They have men’s and women’s clothing and shoes, concert shirts, and housewares just to name a few things! Even Mr. S found a vintage cowboy shirt!
We met Jeremy, one of the owners. He was super nice!! AND… he said they are coming back to Fort Worth this weekend! YAY!! This is my new favorite vintage bus! Check out their website here! I wanted to show you one of my two purchases from the vintagemobile!
top :: Miss O for Oscar de la Renta (thrifted at The Vintagemobile)
pants :: Alice and Olivia
belt :: Nordstroms
ring :: c/o mom
bracelet :: H&M
necklace :: F21
bag and shoes :: Chanel
I needed this blouse in my life! It’s 100% silk and has wonderful bishop sleeves. A billowy top is a great balance for wide leg pants, and this blouse is perfect for colorblocking! I was eyeing this DVF blouse to go with these cobalt blue pants (when I saw the colorblock combo at a FNO), but this blouse fit the bill better in my opinion!
Are you as much of a thrifter as I am? {I love finding vintage treasures!}
This look is making my heart pitter patter! I love color blocking and this is one of my favorite combos. I am wearing the same combo today in fact! Thrifting is so fun and finding treasures is so thrilling :)
OMG!!!! Tell them to drive that Vintage Mobile to Tampa!!!! You scored BIG Honey!!! I never heard of one of these, this is such a cool concept. I love it and you look great!!!
OMG a vintage bus?? I’ve never heard of such a thing, but how cool! That blouse you thrifted is absolutely amazing, and I’m swooning over that wonderful color combo! LOVE! http://www.saysskippy.blogspot.com
Girl, only you would find FINE fashions on WHEELS! YOU GO!!! I wish we had something like that here. The vegetable man passes my house, but that’s about it. LOL That’s another story. I think it is awesome and so is that blouse. Love the sleeves on it and it’s a fabulous color Sam. You rock and so does that bus! HAHA :D http://sassyuptownchic.blogspot.com/
wow, i can’t believe you thrifted this top! it’s absolutely gorgeous and if only I lived closer to Fort Worth!! i’m totally in love with this colorblocked outfit. definitely one of my faves!
Sam that top is gorgeous! My friend just bought a similar one from Tory Burch with the bishop sleeves from Tory Burch for $495. It is called the Octavia blouse! I am going to look into the vintagemobile…alright stay tuned this week as I may have something up my sleeves that is thrift-related ;)
@Style Journey – Thanks Heather! You definitely did a fab job with the pink and blue combo!
@7eventh Letter – Thank you G! I’ll have to see if they have other vintage buses around the US. He told me they got the idea from a bus in Portland (that doesn’t move though).
@skippysays – Thanks Inna! I can’t get enough of the blouse! It even had little crinoline in the shoulder of the sleeves to keep it poufy!
@SassyUptownChic – Kim! LOL @the vegetable man! At least it’s healthier than the ice cream truck! Hope you are doing well! :o)
@Katherine – Thanks! Their is probably one in your area! The west coast is definitely full of creative people!
@Chocolate, Cookies&Candies – Thanks Marlene! It’s such a novel idea but I love it!
@Kileen – Thanks girl! The bus is actually stationed in Dallas most of the time! It will be there on Sunday! :o)
@Bravoe Runway- Bessie! I know which one you are talking about! It was hard for me to plunk down that much for a blouse so I am glad I found this one! Can’t wait to see your thrifting find! :o)
That’s a gorgeous blouse! I recently thrifted a dress in the same color and similar print, can’t wait to wear it. It’s 100% silk as well!! Thank you for visiting my blog. You have gorgeous style! I need to see your panda iPhone case :)
