WAYS TO WEAR SWIM COVER-UPS

Hello GlamFam! The summer heat is in full swing over in Texas, so Chic at Every Age is featuring our favorite swimsuit coverups to take you pool or beachside this season! A coverup is a great way to accessorize when wearing a swimsuit and can be worn so many different ways. We all need at least one good coverup to get through the summertime, so keep scrolling for more outfit details and affordable coverups I’m loving currently!

The black cover-up I’m wearing is almost sold out, however, the orange color seen on Cathy and Natalie is still fully stocked. I’ve found some similar ones here and here that are just as good! A maxi swim coverup is all the rage this year. It’s casual enough to wear to the pool yet dressy enough to wear to dinner on vacation! I also love the plunging neckline that adds edginess and chicness to the piece.

I paired my coverup with layered gold accessories, a summer straw hat, a beach bag (last seen here), and Chanel slides. I loved the black version of this piece because it’s versatile and pairs well with any summer accessory as you can see!

THE STYLE Rx: Keep it simple and chic with a maxi swim coverup.

Let’s chat about the outfits! I love how Cathy’s rust-colored coverup looks with her red hair, don’t you?! Her leopard swimsuit and Christian Dior book tote look perfect with it, too. Heather and I had the same idea with the straw hats and neutral accessories. I love how she paired her deep v coverup with a bikini top that has a gold ring to accessorize. Natalie went with a simple chic look by adding a neutral woven bag and sandals to her orange cover.

BTW, can we chat about the gorgeous picnic set up in Heather’s backyard? Isn’t it amazing? My friend, Brittany, has her business Picknic Events that sets up scenery like this in the DFW area for any occasion – baby showers, wedding showers, birthday or graduation parties. SUSTAINABLE STYLE: My long necklace is vintage and a hand-me-down from my MIL. I thought it was the perfect layering piece to add! Also, I found those Chanel slides on The Real Real last year! You never know what amazing pieces pop up unless you check once in awhile.

Happy Friday GlamFam!! The kids were at camp this week having lots of fun! Little M did an all-day Adventure camp and Baby M had Kindergarten readiness camp. It gave me a second to get some parts of the house clean and also follow up at the dentist. This Sunday is Father’s Day, and we are supposed to go boating with some friends which is very different from our normal routine. We usually just hang out with extended family, but Mr. S wanted an adventure! I will let you know how it goes!
