Happy Hump Day Friends! Hope your week is going well! If you follow along on social media, then you’ve seen me in this pink blazer. In case you didn’t know, PINK is my favorite color! At the risk of sounding very cheezy, it just makes me so happy! When Arielle Charnas of Something Navy came to visit Nordstrom in Dallas, I was compelled to purchase the pink blazer AND matching pants because… why NOT! (Remember this post about pink from the Chanel Makeup Artist?)

I was on the fence about buying a complete pink pantsuit because 1) I ALREADY own one [seen in this post] and 2) I REALLY don’t need any more clothes. However, I DID and do not regret it one bit! Also, this is a more subtle shade of pink than my other suit. Is that helping my cause?! LOL!
THE STYLE Rx: Be pretty in pink with a pantsuit! Or just know that any suit set is a staple since you can wear pieces separately or together!
Suits are a fabulous addition to your wardrobe since they are so versatile. Wear both pieces together as a suit set or single as a blazer or just the pants. It’s basically a three for one! In this post, I’m showing you my #GlamSam (really over the top with the pink suit but SO fun) and my #DailySam (how it would be worn daily).
LOOK ONE #GLAMSAM
This is my idea of a power suit PLUS extra! The pink blazer is very on trend being oversized (comes in baby blue and black) and was perfect for belting. It’s an easy trick when you want to define your waist and helps elongates you with a longer blazer or jacket. Nude shoes also trick the eye into making you look taller. I need all the help I can get being 5’4″!
The tapered pants are great for work and very comfortable since they have a stretch. BTW, this suit set runs large so size down – I’m wearing size XS in the blazer and size 2 in the pants.
The full pink suit stands alone to be a beautiful work outfit, but a fabulous pink fur jacket takes it from work wear to play! Piling on accessories also takes this outfit up a notch!
LOOK TWO #DAILYSAM
“Throw a blazer on it” should be tattooed on my forehead! LOL! That’s my solution for so many things and how I approach dressy casual. This pink blazer is a perfect topper to a basic outfit – black bodysuit + jeans.
To give it that “cool girl” look, roll up the blazer sleeves. I added a fun heart bag (which doubles as a belt bag) for a playful accessory. Although I wore heels, this look would be fabulous with dressy sneakers too. I’ve actually worn a similar outfit for travel seen here in this post.
