For those of you that just tuned in, From Grandma with Love is a twice-monthly series that is one of my faves! I’m lucky to be the recipient of my Grandmother-in-law’s beautiful wardrobe. She owned so many unique pieces, and I’ve had the MOST FABULOUS time styling it on the blog. It’s a win-win for me because I ADORE vintage and a fun excuse to wear it!
Today’s Grandma piece is a small one, but it’s a good one. When my MIL gave me this vintage YSL pleated camisole, I was over the moon. It’s a beautiful metallic brown color, and I thought it was perfect to wear with some shiny and sparkly pieces. Brown and silver? Why not? It’s the holiday season after all, and sparkly goes with sparkly!
THE STYLE Rx: A metallic camisole is a fabulous starting point for a holiday outfit. Wear it later with jeans or under a deep v-neck sweater for a casual but fun look.
Although I wore it with a metallic pencil skirt and bomber jacket, a metallic camisole would be gorgeous with a pair of winter white wide-leg pants and metallic heels. A cropped jacket would be a great topper for a polished look. Or it could be dressed down in a pair of jeans, booties, and moto jacket. Moto jackets are my solution to everything! LOL!

Happy Friday Stylistas! Hope everyone had a fabulous week! Mr. S took off for today, and we were able to finish Christmas shopping among the madness of the stores. It actually wasn’t that bad, and I will take advantage of any time that we get to spend together! Our Christmas cards finally arrived today, so I’ll be addressing tonight for them to go out tomorrow! Guess they will definitely be late this year! When are they not? LOL!
