I’m always on a quest for the perfect {fill in the brackets}. It just so happens that I need a replacement {tuxedo jacket} because my beloved Zac Posen for Target one is falling apart at the seams, literally. I found this one on sale at Last Call Neiman Marcus last month. The back of the jacket is perfect for showing off some peplum panache!
Imagine my surprise when Brandy, the Last Call Neiman Marcus stylist, showed us a ‘jacket outfit’ with THIS EXACT ONE at the Blogger event! She paired it with a cream lace peplum, black tights, and boots.
The Style Rx: Find a jacket that speaks to you. I LOVE the detailing of the back, so this jacket was the ONE for me. However, a more classic shaped blazer could be your best friend! Remember, you can style a simple jacket. Roll or cuff the sleeves for a more relaxed look. Pin a brooch to the lapel for added bling. A lush fabric such as velvet or brocade can also glam up your look.
