Try a Trend is back! I was sporting a Fall trend this past weekend and didn’t even plan it. How’s that for happenstance?!
Rag and Bone dress via NMLC {also in blue} // scarf gifted from friend // Anthropologie earrings {similar} // Oui, thrifted, and gifted rings // thrifted, Stella and Dot, Mai Tai cuff, and c/o ViX suede wrap bracelets // cfc watch via overstock.com // Valentino pearl bow booties via NMLC {love these Vera Wangs} // Chanel ‘bubble quilt’ bag // Chanel Sycomore lipstick + Tom Ford Naivete lipgloss
Yes, this is the same Rag and Bone dress from my ‘Winter White and Oxblood‘ post! Since it was in the 50s, I warmed it up with a big GREEN scarf, GREEN bag and suede booties. And you’ll have to excuse the gratuitous posts of those booties, but I’m smitten! Bows and pearls… LOVE!
The Style Rx: Army green works on most skin tones, or try a deeper hue for added glam. Pair greens with neutrals like brown, tan, and/or black. Or be BOLD by contrasting green attire with red accessories.
I wore this outfit to a Blogger Event at Last Call Neiman Marcus this past weekend. It was a trend preview for a Runway event benefitting GRACE {Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange} happening later this month. First, the lovely stylist Brandy enlightened us on the upcoming Fall trends…
- The Crayon Box {aka colorblocking}
- Into the Blue
- Green with Envy
- Fancy Pants {go with the colored, printed, and textured pants}
- Fabulous Fur
- Horse Play {aka Equestrian style}
- Jackets Required
- Finishing Touches {all about the accessories… brooches, totes, slippers}
- Leather Report
- Cozy Chic {all about the knits}
1. Me and Ashley of SideSmileStyle // 2. Stylist Brandy with my favorite outfit – {Into the blue} dress with a fur vest and clutch // 3. All of the bloggers – meeting Alex and Ivonne!
Ashley and I decided we needed Brandy to come home with us so she could dress us everyday! Then, we took a quick tour of Grapevine Mills Mall stopping by H&M, Off Saks 5th Avenue, Coach, Lego Land, and the AMC Movie Theatre. The mini tour ended with a cute little makeup bag filled with coupons and swag from the local vendors. Even though I’m no stranger to the mall, it was nice to hear about each retailer. Thank you Grapevine Mills Mall and Last Call!
