Last week, the weather cooled down in Texas and I was happy to bring out the Fall gear! Try a Trend is back! I must admit that I’m not really “trying” the fur trend. It’s been fully embraced for the last couple of years! I’m always looking for a reason to wear my faux fur vests, capelets, or boots! And this look has two trends going on – fur and animal print! Whoa!

Here we go with that contrast of color again! This time, I chose an orangey melon to spice up the black. At first, I just had the vest over the dress, but it wasn’t quite right because the dress is short sleeved. To add warmth, I wore the vest OVER a blazer! If it’s really frosty, I would wear black tights and tall boots. This is a great way to winterize some of your summer/ spring dresses. Here’s some more fashion math! dress + jacket/vest + tights + boots = winter fashionista!
I first spotted this little orange bubble beauty in Paris years ago. Alas it was not meant to be (at that time). I found it a year later on ebay at a great price. These earrings really make a statement! Although they may be considered more of a spring/ summer color, they makes an impact with darker clothes in the fall/winter.
