Style of Sam (SOS): Volunteering

As I was running late to get out of the house a couple of days ago, this was the outfit that came to mind to finish my volunteer hours at the Junior League resale shop.

(Anthropologie necklace, Target dress and cardigan, H&M belt, Chie Mihara shoes)
After graduating pharmacy school, I got stuck in a work then shop cycle.  My wardrobe was steadily growing, but my wallet was getting slimmer and I still felt a void.  I decided to break the habit by joining the Junior League.  It is a national women’s organization that promotes volunteerism.  This year, my hours are devoted to the resale shop.  Next year, I start work at the Food Bank!

It’s always great to be fashionable and comfortable!  A couple of years ago, I decide to purchase these shoes on sale online.  My dog had eaten my pair of nude heels and the search for a replacement began. I wanted a fun heel that was comfortable too. I’m glad I took a chance! They have been great!
