Besides having a passion for fashion, I also LOVE makeup. As a child, I watched my mom put on makeup and was so intrigued at how such a miniscule change could make such a big difference. In college, I worked for the Shiseido and then Estee Lauder counter. {The Shiseido counter got downsized in College Station. Go figure!} So when my cousin, Iris, sent me two eyeshadow palettes, I was in Heaven! I’m so lucky to have a cousin like her!
I’ve always wanted green eyes. Being Asian doesn’t help that situation unless you’re the gal from “Big Trouble in Little China“! So I decided that wearing green eyeshadow was the next best thing! {I did have a stint when I wore colored contacts before I needed corrective lenses, but that’s done!} Anyhow, green eyeshadow and coral lips are one of my favorite makeup combinations. And when I wore it to work, my friend L* complemented me on the green. Another blog post was born!
So, this part is a bit like “telephone”! I asked Iris how she found out about bh cosmetics. Her best friend is a makeup artist and really likes the colors and pigmentation of these shadows. Iris found the eyeshadow palettes on sale, ordered them, and sent some to me. Now, I’m telling y’all about it!
Iris sent me 2 bh cosmetics palettes, one shimmer and one matte. They both have 88 eyeshadows!! Yes, you read that correctly! EIGHTY EIGHT!! I am using three different colors on my lids, although it is hard to tell because I am not an expert photographer. I wear them over my Urban Decay primer potion in Sin, and the shadows last all day. I’ve only played with the greens and greys, but the pigments have been true so far. I’m not a makeup expert, but I definitely give this eyeshadow palette two thumbs up! {If you do need some makeup experts, check out Leticia of Cosmetic Aficionado, Ling of The Best Beauty Blog, or Susan of Novice Style! Those ladies are fab!}
Happy Monday!
Has anyone else tried this brand or other products from bh cosmetics?
