I can’t believe it’s the last day of October! It’s officially still hot in Texas, so I’m posting one of my favorites, the embroidered dress. When my mom saw this outfit on me, she said it was a definite blog post! Thanks, Mom! Embroidered dresses are perfect for Summer and can transition very easily for the colder weather.

It’s a fun pop of color for Winter as most embroidered dresses are colorful. Wearing it with a vest (long vest, denim vest, or fur vest) will show off the sleeve detail. If it’s a mini dress, then adding leggings will make it the perfect tunic! For this particular dress, I plan to wear it with a white faux fur vest and camel knee-high boots.
It’s kind of crazy to see myself with long hair again! I do miss it… but only because I’m a lazy gal when it comes to hair and long hair is no-muss-no-fuss for me. Shorter hair requires products and actual effort to not look like Wayne (from Wayne’s World)!
THE STYLE Rx: Get your Summer Boho on with an embroidered dress! Take it to Fall/Winter by adding layers and boots!
Happy Monday and Happy Halloween for those of you that celebrate! We had such a lovely weekend! Sundays are my absolute favorite day because we start the day with breakfast, church, and then head over to the Fort Worth Water Gardens. Yesterday, we grabbed some sushi and ate outside at Central Market for lunch. The weekends are such a special time for us because it’s very dedicated family time, and I LOVE IT!!! Some don’t like Sundays because it’s the day before Monday, but I think of it as the beginning of my week and it’s a fantastic way to start it! Hope y’all are off to a great day!
