It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’re styling a PINK STATEMENT SLEEVE TOP!
For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!

The 30-something // ME!
The 40-something // Heather of So Heather
The 50-something // Cathy of The Middle Page

Oh my goodness! Brights are trending for Spring, and this top is BRIGHT! Don’t you just love the puffy sleeves? Can you say, “Hello 80s!” Even though I love pink AND statement sleeves, this one was kind of a stumper on how to wear it creatively! BTW, #iheartthe80s
I ended up channeling my inner 80s girl by wearing high-rise skinny jeans and all kinds of heavy metal! (This seems to be a recurring theme! LOL!) The skinny jeans work well to balance out the voluminous top! I consider metallic accessories and jeans a neutral so the bright top will stand on its own! BTW, if brights are NOT your thing, this top also comes in white and a blue pinstripe floral.
THE STYLE Rx: Shine BRIGHT like a diamond for Spring with a pop of pink!
Cathy looks effortlessly elegant in those girlfriend jeans and floral pumps! I need those heels in my life! Heather wore it with dark distressed denim and white heels and bag. I love the contrast of light and dark + bright for Spring! Natalie wore white culottes, bag, and blazer. You’ll have to hop onto her blog to see the full look! It’s like a Spring suit, and I LOVE how she wore it the best! It’s so classy and sophisticated.
How would you wear this top? And are you loving the bright trend?
Happy Friday Friends! Hope your week was wonderful. I continue to play catch up and seem to be overwhelmed by life. I wish there were 48 hours in a day so I had time to get more done! I’m trying the Ivy Lee Method for productivity on the days when I have a couple of uninterrupted hours. Basically, the day before you write down 6 tasks that need to be done the next day. Prioritize them. The next day, work on the first task until it’s done. You cannot move to the next until it’s complete. At the end of the day, whatever isn’t done is moved to the next day. It has helped but my TO-DO seems to be infinite so I don’t if I’ll ever be done! Ha! Have you ever tried this? Or do you have a productivity trick?
Also, I am doing more yoga to help with stress and get some kind of movement/exercise in. I’ve been using the Down Dog app, and Mr. S and I do yoga together once a week so that’s a plus. We enjoy spending that time together.
Have a beautiful weekend Y’all!
