It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE.  This week, we’re showing you how to wear an oversized moto jacket.

For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!

Y’all, this month is FLYING by! Can you believe we are less than a week and a half away from Christmas? Anyhow, I’m always happy to be back when I’m with the gals. We are styling these fabulous oversized moto jackets from Karen Kane.

A good blazer is a foundation must-have in your wardrobe, and that’s exactly how I think about this piece when styling. Even though it’s a moto jacket in theory, the fit is more like a blazer which makes it appropriate for work AND play! I love the asymmetrical neckline and attached belt detail. Although it’s oversized, the cut is flattering on all of us.

This is exactly how I wore the houndstooth moto jacket to run errands one day and then met the gals for our photo shoot. The jacket is a perfect topper for a lace cami, distressed jeans, and white booties. It was cold and this outfit kept me warm (for 60s weather), but the light top and white boots would be wearable for Spring/Summer too!

THE STYLE Rx: An oversized jacket is an easy way to up the chic factor in your closet. Wear it with some verson of jeans/pants (as we did) or throw it on over a dress!

The gals looked fabulous, and I love how we styled it all so differently! Cathy added a pop of red with a beautiful print top and accented the look with a zebra print belt. How fun is that?! Heather wore a gorgeous green lace cami with black jeans and heels. So simple but chic. Winter white is a favorite of mine so I wore a cream lace cami, ripped jeans, and white booties for a fresh take on a staple look. Natalie looks so cute in her pom pom beanie hat, tunic top, and leggings. She and Cathy had the same idea about the red pop of color!

So what are YOUR thoughts on oversized jackets? Are you a YAY or NAY?

Happy Friday Friends! Oh boy, this month is just flying by! I still haven’t finished Christmas shopping or even ordering Christmas cards! OOPS! I guess they will be New Year’s cards or maybe Valentine’s Day cards! I’ve really been focusing on that ONE thing after listening to THIS podcast, and I’m making progress on the house but other things are behind. I’m still happy with progress though!

We are having a little holiday get together for the kids this afternoon, and tomorrow is another holiday party for Mr. S! Even though the schedule is so crazy around this time, I DO love the dressing up part! What are you up to this weekend?

Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting SOS! I truly appreciate it!
