It’s the most wonderful sale time of the year! Today, I’m sharing my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dressing Room Selfies (and some bathroom selfies) of my fave pieces from the sale with a quick review.
If you are a Nordstrom cardholder, then you can access the sale starting today before the public sale starts on July 20th. A lot of things sell out quickly so it’s worth it to get a card. (Last year, I re-opened my account to access the sale.)
Here are some quick reminders for dates:

July 11 // Level 4 cardmembers get to pre-shop the sale in stores only.
July 12-19 // All cardmembers get to shop Early Access in stores and online.
July 20-August 5 // Sale opens to the public.
I’ve broken it up into the following categories since there are so many pictures – styled outfits, cardigans + jackets, sweaters + dresses, jeans, and shoes + accessories.
Okay, here we go with the dressing room and bathroom selfies…
STYLED OUTFITS
The bathroom selfies are the items that were brought home and styled so I would know if I really loved it or not. P.S. Sorry about the smudges on my mirror! Didn’t realize until I was brightening all of the pictures! #momlife
LEFT // BlankNYC vegan leather jacket w/hoodie $64.90 in size XS + 1 STATE linen tee $59 (not on sale) + AGOLDE jeans $105.86 + Vince Camuto Movinta Bootie $99.90 (after sale $149.95) – I always end up getting a BlankNYC leather jacket at the sale. They literally look SO REAL, and I get compliments every time I wear it. LOVE that the hoodie is removable. This black jacket has gold hardware, but I’m thinking of exchanging it for the taupe color since I already have black. Why do I buy the same things over and over?!
RIGHT // Topshop Striped Jumpsuit $79.90 (after sale $130) + Marc Fisher Hesla Heels $109.90 in size 8.5 – This jumpsuit is SO cute but you need to size up (wearing size 6) in this brand. This would be great for work and could take you to Happy Hour afterward!
LEFT // BP Drop Shoulder Sweater $31.90 in size S + BlankNYC Denim Skirt $51.90 in size 26 TTS + BP Tonya Open Toe Mule $49.90 (after sale $79.95) – I love basic sweaters, and this is made of cotton, a neutral grey color, and slightly cropped. The denim skirt is easy to wear and isn’t TOO short. I’m am so impressed with this BP suede mule for less than $50! It comes in 5 colors, and I almost got it in black too.
RIGHT // [Didn’t have a chance to try on at the store] BP Twist Front Sweater $31.90 in size XS + Levi’s 501 Crop Straight jeans $64.90 in size 26 (runs big) + Vince Camuto Movinta Bootie $99.90 (after sale $149.95) – This is another cotton sweater with a cute front detail, but wish I got the Small so it would lay at my waist/hip better. Usually Levi’s jeans are my jam, but these not very flattering on me so they will be going back.
Let’s just say, “You had me at tweed”! I’m obsessed and felt like I was channeling my inner Elle Woods of Legally Blonde.
LEFT // Halogen Tweed Jacket $98.90 in size XS + Madewell Adios Graphic tee $22.90 + Halogen Tweed Midi Skirt $58.90 (after sale $89) in size 0 (runs big) – I couldn’t help myself and ended getting both the jacket and skirt. I’ve worn it together as a suit for you to see but will likely wear the jacket and skirt separately as well.

Just wanted to show you two different ways to wear the skirt – casual and for work.

I always end up getting some Free People pieces at the sale. Free people runs big so always size down. I’m wearing size XS in both pieces.
LEFT // DIFF Mirrored Aviator Sunglasses $56.90 + Free People Puffer Jacket $64.90 in XS + AGOLDE jeans $105.86 + Adidas Superstars – This jacket will be perfect to throw on when it’s cold and I’m hanging with the kids. It’s a peachy pinkish color which is so pretty, but I’m going to exchange it for the Army Green color.
RIGHT // Free People Found My Friend Sweater $51.90 in XS + AGOLDE jeans $105.86 + BP Tonya Open Toe Mule $49.90 (after sale $79.95) – Again, this is an easy sweater to hang with the kids. It is cropped so you need to wear it with high rise jeans/pants if you don’t want your midsection showing. I usually wear Free People tops with a lace bralette.
A LBD (little black dress) is easy to mix and match – showing you three different looks!
LEFT // Leith Knit Midi Dress $42.90 (after sale $65) in size S + Equipment Cashmere Long Cardigan $399.90 ($598 after sale) in size XS + Sam Edelman Helen Ankle Strap Pump $99.90 (after sale $149.95) – The cashmere cardigan is an investment but SO WORTH it! The slim fit is very flattering, and the length is PERFECT for dresses, jeans, or really anything! For some reason, I thought it was around $250 when I checked out so I really have to consider whether or not I keep the duster. Aren’t those ankle strap heels so gorgeous?! I’m thinking about getting them in the nude color too!
MIDDLE // Leith Knit Midi Dress $42.90 (after sale $65) + Rebecca Minkoff Lucy Belt Bag $58.90 + BP Tonya Open Toe Mule $49.90 (after sale $79.95) – This is a casual running-around-town-hands-free look! The downside to the dress is that it’s a bit lowcut so keep that in mind. However, that could be solved with wearing a lace bralette under it too. You can scroll to the bottom for my review on the bag!
RIGHT // Leith Knit Midi Dress $42.90 (after sale $65) +BlankNYC vegan leather jacket w/hoodie $64.90 in size XS + Vince Camuto Movinta Bootie $99.90 (after sale $149.95) – This is another easy outfit that looks chic. I would also wear this with the kids.
T&B Green Pleated Dress $78.90 in S for length + Sam Edelman Helen Ankle Strap Pump $99.90 (after sale $149.95) in size 8.5 TTS + BaubleBar earrings $24.90 – This outfit would be perfect and so easy for work. The dress is a gorgeous green color and doesn’t have a defined waist. I meant to belt it to see how that would look. I wore it with the collar open but you can keep it closed for a Victorian collar look. I’m on the fence about this dress on whether to keep or return.
CARDIGANS + JACKETS
This dress was so disappointing! It looks so cute in the catalog but shows every bump and flaw. You can see my underwear line and even the lace trim! I got the dress in black (seen above) but would NOT recommend the lavender unless you are super comfortable with your body or very fit!
LEFT// Leith Lavender Knit Midi Dress $42.90 (after sale $65) + Halogen Blouson Sleeve Cashmere Cardigan $199.90 (after sale $299) in size S/M – I wanted this EXACT outfit because of the catalog, but ended up liking the above Equipment cashmere sweater (with black dress) better than this one!
RIGHT // Leith Lavender Knit Midi Dress $42.90 (after sale $65) + Vince Cashmere Sweater $264.90 in size S – I love the color of this cashmere cardigan, but again, the above cardigan better. Plus, I was nervous about wearing such a light colored cashmere sweater with my little ones.
LEFT // Madewell Waffle Stitch Cardigan $99.90 in size S (runs big) +BP lace camisole $22.90 in size XS + Good American Jeans $105.90 in size 25 (inconsistent sizing) – This waffle weave cardigan super cute and would be easy to wear with a camisole and jeans as shown. It’s less expensive than the cashmere one but is a wool blend and hangs so nicely.
RIGHT // TROUVE Cardigan $52.90 in XXS + RAILS Star Tee $58.90 in size XS +AGOLDE jeans $105.86 – This is a gorgeous blue color but I didn’t have the correct size so I wasn’t crazy about it. It has a really cool flap back detail (which I forgot to take a picture of) but would be another great staple. I was back and forth about buying the star tee but only because I own a million white linen tees.
LEFT // Caslon Faux Shearling Jacket $85.90 (after sale $129) + BP lace camisole $22.90 +AGOLDE jeans $105.86 – Y’all, I’m SO MAD at myself for not grabbing this on the way to the dressing room because it was gone when I went to check out. I am trying on Heather’s in the picture. It is literally the SOFTEST jacket and I will be ordering this one!
RIGHT // Halogen Boucle Coat $132.90 (after sale $199) in size XS – It’s a really pretty lavender color and would be easy to throw on for Winter. It’s a very chic style but trendy because of the color.
LEFT // Veronica Beard Plaid Steel Jacket + Dickey $529.90 ($795 after sale) in size 0 +AGOLDE jeans $105.86 – I was SO excited about this set since I LOVE VB but was underwhelmed when I tried it on. The button sleeves are amazing, and the plaid pattern is nice but the material was thinner than I expected.
RIGHT // T&B Plaid Oversized Blazer $65.90 in size XXS + Chelsea 28 Layering Turtleneck $31.90 in size S +AGOLDE jeans $105.86 – You can kind of get a look for less of the VB jacket with this combination! I love the notched lapel on the blazer and it is meant to be a “boyfriend” blazer but I like mine more fitted so I went with a smaller size.
The layering turtleneck is super soft and meant to be close-fitting. I was concerned that it would be transparent where it stretches at the bust but it wasn’t – just showed my bra line.
SWEATERS + DRESSES
HALOGEN detachable sleeve sweater $78.90 ($119 after sale) + Veronica Beard jeans $198.90 ($298 after sale) in size 25 (could probably get size 26) – I was SO excited about this sweater from the catalog but not crazy about it in real life. The concept that the sleeves come off is great, but it just didn’t work for me! It also comes in five other color options.
The VB jeans are really cute and flattering as a cropped flare – love the breakaway snaps on the side. Even though they are one of my favorite designers, I didn’t feel like I could justify the price since it’s very trendy with the stripe/buttons on the side.
LEFT // Proenzer Schouler Wool/Cashmere/Silk Sweater Dress $595.90 in size XS (runs really big) + Sam Edelman Helen Ankle Strap Pump $99.90 (after sale $149.95) in size 8.5 TTS – This sweater dress was SO pretty on and would be a great work or church staple but I still couldn’t justify cost-per-wear with my current lifestyle it with the price.
RIGHT // SEA dress $279.90 in size 2 (probably needed a size 4) – This dress is DARLING – a fit and flare mini dress!! I really wanted to bring it home with me but it’s a little short to wear with the kids right now.
LEFT // Self-Portrait Tiered Scalloped Dress $374.90 in size 6 (runs small) – I’ve always wanted a Self Portrait dress, and my girlfriends convinced me to buy it. It is so flattering on! Even though I ADORE it, it may go back because again, I don’t know if I can justify cost-per-wear!
RIGHT // Halogen Cashmere Sweater $89.90 in size S (needed XS) + 7 for All Mankind Split Hem Jeans $152.90 in size 26 – What a great deal for a cashmere sweater! The button sleeve accents make it unique. Of all the jeans that I tried on, these were the cutest but look too similar to the Frame pair that I purchased last year.
JEANS JEANS JEANS
I wasn’t really crazy about any of the jeans this year.

Frame Le Slender Straight Jeans $173.90 in size 25 – These were so cute in length but those side slit pockets seem to accentuate my hips.
Levis 501 Ripped Boyfriend Jeans in size 25 (grabbed wrong size by mistake – usually size 26) – Levi’s is one of my favorite brands and I love these jeans. Since I have two pairs of distressed jeans that are similar, I had to pass. OTW, these would be in my closet!
7 for All Mankind Split Hem Jeans $152.90 in size 26 – Super cute and flattering but remind me of my Frame jeans from last year so passed.
Mother The Looker Frayed Jeans $158.90 in size 26 – I have the high-rise version in black and love them, but didn’t feel like I needed the pink this version.
SHOES + ACCESSORIES
Leith Lavender Knit Midi Dress $42.90 ($65 after sale) + Louise et Cie Cela Bow Slide $84.90 ($129.95 after sale) – I was DYING and loved these flat slides in the store. However, after bringing them home and seeing them on me, I’m not as crazy about them. They also come in pink/red and a steel blue combination. These may go back.
Vince Camuto Movinta Bootie $99.90 (after sale $149.95) in size 8.5 TTS – I am OBSESSED with the cone heel on these booties and got them in the black AND the brown. They remind me of my Isabel Marant booties which I love so much! I’ve worn the black pair in many of the above outfit pictures.
Marc Fisher Cone Heel Pumps in size 8.5 (runs a little big) – As mentioned above, I love the cone heels and need a white pair of pumps. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these, and they will work for Summer and possible Winter (for my all white winter looks)! Heather got a pair too even though she has white pumps because of how amazing these looked!

BP Tonya Open Toe Mule $49.90 (after sale $79.95) in size 7.5 (run a whole size large) – These are so cute and such a great price for a suede mule. Just be aware that they run a whole size large, and I could have even gotten the size 7. You can see that they gap a bit on the side which wasn’t the case with size 7 but my heel was over the edge just a smidge too much.
Sam Edelman Helen Ankle Strap Pump $99.90 (after sale $149.95) in size 8.5 TTS – These are absolutely gorgeous and also come in three other colors. I’m thinking about getting the nude color also. If you don’t like the ankle strap, there is a strapless version that is on sale for $89.90 that comes in black, nude, and floral.
Rebecca Minkoff Lucy Belt Bag $58.90 in size M – I LOVE LOVE LOVE belt bags, and this one is so cute especially for the price. It fits my cell phone, keys, lipstick, and a thin wallet card. I got a size M to wear lower on my hip and can punch holes to wear it higher on the waist. The belt is removable so you can wear it with a chain belt or scarf instead!
LANA Double Choker 14K Gold Necklace $430.90 ($645 after sale) – This was a total splurge but a worthy investment to me. I’ve bought so many gold-plated chokers that fade/turn so why not get the real thing instead of buying plated pieces again and again?! It’s absolutely beautiful and sparkles so much. I’m wearing it in all of the styled outfit shots. It was the first thing I asked my SA to grab for me after missing out on Lana jewelry last year.
BaubleBar earrings $24.90 – Rainbows are trending so I thought these were so cute and fun statement earrings for the price.
DIFF Mirrored Aviator Sunglasses $56.90 – It’s hard to tell that they are reflective, but you can see in the above pic with the puffy jacket. They are transparent (so you can see my eyes). Since I already have aviator sunglasses (why Sam why?!), I should have gotten these Le Specs that are very similar to a pair of Celine sunglasses that I love.
