On the blog, y’all may be used to seeing me all glammed and girlied up. But lately, because of baby, I’m reaching mostly for maxi dresses {because it’s one thing that you don’t have to match} or jeans and a tee. I need EASY, which is my kind of casual – something that feels good while I’m running around taking care of baby but will transition to leaving the house in a flash {if needed} when the Mister comes home from work.

At home, my personal appearance has been… how shall I say… NOT so lovely! Usual attire = no makeup + top knot + PJs / if I’m lucky – workout clothes / if I’m really ambitious – real clothes. Here’s the skinny… I really don’t wear jewelry anymore UNLESS I’m leaving the house to run errands WITHOUT le bébé! And I go for easy pieces like the above example – neutrals, black comfy tee, and very stretchy jeans. I threw on the boots and necklace so I wouldn’t feel so “mommyish”, and the blazer is good measure to cover up any spit up on my shoulders! PLUS, it hides my derrière in these stretchy pants. Lastly, I swipe on some bright lipstick to distract from my under eye circles/bags. How’s THAT for trickery! :)
P.S. If you work at Target in Fort Worth and have seen me in this outfit multiple times in one week, DON’T JUDGE!
