Happy Wednesday Glam Fam!! Today, I’m dishing out my love for the Little White Dress (aka LWD) and why it’s a great alternative to the LBD (little black dress)!

White looks Fab on Everyone
When worn from head-to-toe, it looks UBER chic on anyone! I did a quick search on my blog and found all of these fabulous posts including some of the Chic at Every Age gals!
Did you know there are over 400 shades of white?! If you’re one of those people who think that white makes you look pale or washes you out, then you haven’t found the correct shade of white! There are warmer whites (like winter white) and cooler white (like pure white). Be like Goldilocks and try things on until you find the right one!
White is a Timeless Neutral
During a recent Neiman Marcus Spring Trends Fashion Show, this gorgeous white lace dress was highlighted and I fell in LOVE! The lace detail and midi pencil skirt are so feminine! It’s in for Spring/Summer and always chic in Fall/Winter ~ it’s literally always in season!
When you look up the color meaning of white, it represents purity, safety, goodness, perfection, and can represent a new beginning. Just as black is total absorption (of all colors), white is a total reflection!
I didn’t realize how drawn I was to white until my MIL mentioned it (and gave us a white marble clock). Even the receptionists at our pediatrician’s office said, “I thought you only wore white!” when I showed up in some jeans and a tee!!!
White Matches Everything
Because it’s a fabulous neutral, it literally goes with EVERY SINGLE COLOR! Now if that isn’t versatile, then I don’t know what is!
Even though it does go with everything, my personal preference is to wear an all white ensemble!! It always looks so chic!
THE STYLE Rx (aka Lazy Girl Glam tip):
Find a good foundation (like jeans and a tee or a white blouse and slacks) and you’ll be able to throw any jacket over for an easy but chic outfit.
I decided this lace dress would be my Easter Dress, but I’ve already worn it twice! The first time was with all pink accessories (as seen below) with my favorite pink heart belt, heels, and bag. For this shoot, I changed into floral heels and a basket bag!
Looks like I’m ready for the Easter Bunny! LOL! Anyhow, we had so much fun shooting on the side of the hill in all of those fun wild flowers right by the Littles’ school. Angie had some fun with Photoshop, and I think it’s fitting for this Lenten/Easter season!
