Happy Friday and Happy Tax Day! (And Happy Birthday to my BFF since first grade!) Hope y’all had a stellar week! Today, Little M is undergoing tympanostomy surgery (ear tubes). Please say a little prayer for him. I know this is a very routine surgery, but nerves get the best of me (especially when it’s my dear little boy).
Dun dun dun dun!! Meet our newest member of CAEA, Brooke! She is a 20-something that you can find over at One Small Blonde. She is the cutest thing, and I know y’all are going to LOVE her as much as we do. She is also a #girlboss and owns her own marketing and advertising firm in Dallas. I hope y’all give her the warmest welcome that she deserves!
The gals started off with lunch at Zoe’s Kitchen at the Shops at Park Lane. If you haven’t had their kabobs, they are super yummy. Little M loves their rosemary(?) beans. I joined in on the fun during the last half. Our hair and makeup got a refresh at the Aveda Institute. (You saw details if you follow on Snapchat) Then, we enjoyed styling a white blazer from J Crew Mercantile.
Brooke found a fab blush pink shift dress to wear under the blazer and finished it with nude sandals and a gorgeous bag. Of course, I was ALL OVER that strapless peach jumpsuit! To add some sparkle, I added a J Crew Mercantile crystal necklace, graphic clutch, and black and white sandals. Heather and Cathy both chose a nude cami and cropped jeans to wear with their blazers, but look at how different they finished! They even have the SAME sandals, one in nude and the other in leopard. SO FUN!!
