A Very Special Necklace to Benefit My Favorite Adoption Agency

Happiest Monday Loves!! I am SO SO EXCITED to partner with India Hicks for the Summer of Giving program where she hopes to raise $100,000 in 100 days! Read on to see how this Legacy Letter necklace from India Hicks (or any purchase) benefits the adoption agency that is near and dear to my heart, Hope Cottage.

Hope Cottage is the adoption agency in Dallas that helped us grow our family through TWO adoptions. They are a wonderful non-profit organization in Dallas and do so many great things for the community in addition to adoption (like outreach to women in crises pregnancies and character building education for teens). You can read about our first adoption HERE and our second adoption HERE!!

I am so proud and honored to be doing this collaboration with India Hicks. This week (from Monday, June 18th – Sunday, June 24th), Hope Cottage will receive twenty-five percent (25%) of any purchases using this link: https://www.indiahicks.com/event/hopecottagexstyleofsam/shopping.

What makes this collaboration even BETTER is that both organizations are celebrating 100s! Hope Cottage is celebrating 100 years of adoption!! Isn’t that AWESOME!!!! And India Hicks is trying to raise $100,000 in 100 days!!

In these pictures, I’m wearing the Legacy Letter necklace with the letter “M” which is the first initial of both children’s names. I’ve been layering it with the Miraculous Mary necklace that MIL gave to me, which she used to wear. Both necklaces are so special to me for different reasons.

THE STYLE Rx: Shop for a cause and grab a gift for a loved one (including yourself) to benefit my favorite adoption agency! It doesn’t have to be the Legacy Letter necklace, it can be anything!

India Hicks has tons of beautiful pieces that start at $39 and up (like these tokens with empowering messages)! You can buy anything through the above link to donate! If you like to shop for a cause or just SHOP, then I hope you will find something beautiful for such a wonderful organization.

By the way, this is a linen dress which is my favorite material in Summer! This look would be perfect for a Summer picnic or Concert at the Park.

Sorry, this post is up so late. This weekend was so crazy. Franklin, our dog, wasn’t walking, drinking, or eating Saturday morning so I had to take him to the Emergency Vet and get home just in time to change for a funeral. It was for Mr. S’s roommate’s wife. It was SO HEARTBREAKING to see their two children crying at the funeral. I had to take Franklin back to the vet on Sunday morning for an ultrasound, then he was admitted. But THEN, they were short staffed because of maternity leave and vacation, so I had to transfer him to another emergency veterinarian and finished around midnight last night. Baby M had a follow-up appointment for her ear tubes this morning. Meanwhile, the medical records for Franklin weren’t being transmitted via email OR fax so I went and got paper records and brought them to the new vet. Now, he’s due in surgery at 3pm CST. All this to say… please say a prayer for my little sweet 13-year-old fur baby and that’s why this post is late! And please say a BIG PRAYER for that sweet family and those babes who lost their momma.
