OH EM GEE!!! I am SO EXCITED about this news I’m about to share! Fort Worth is finally getting an H&M! {Insert “Ah hands” emoji!!} I sound a little fanatical, but I’ve been a fan since discovering them in Germany in 2008! I’m embarrassed to show you {because most of these pics are pre-photographer} but want to give you proof on the blog about my H&M obsessions HERE and HERE!
BTW, can you get over those sleeves?! I’m a sucker for any kind of dramatic sleeve! Of course, this kimono cardigan was in my shopping bag in seconds. The same happened with the high waisted flare jeans, AND the really architectural choker necklace, AND the linen tee! I have 3 million linen shirts – they’re that good!
H&M is officially opening on Thursday at Ridgmar Mall at noon with ONLY 21,000 square feet of fashion shopping mecca. No big deal right?! They will have the usual departments (ladies, mens, lingerie, cosmetics, sports apparel) PLUS the children’s collection (newborn to 14 years)!! Holla!!! Time for some new things for Little M! BTW, did you know that H&M was the largest organic cotton user in 2013? They are committed to exclusively using organic cotton in all collections by 2020. That’s pretty amazing for such a large retailer!
To celebrate the grand opening, H&M will offer the first 200 shoppers in line an H&M t-shirt and Access to Fashion Pass , valued between $20 – $200, in addition to other surprises. Um, sign me up!

I still haven’t been to the H&M here in Queensland!
I’ve been to the one in Melbourne and was very underwhelmed so I never went to the effort of looking it out here. If it’s anything like Forever21, it will be selling winter stuff in our summer so it won’t be any good! haha!
