Awhile ago, I was contacted by eShakti to do a review for one of their items. It took me forever to pick ONE item because they have so many great choices. In the end, it was between two dresses and I went for the little black dress!
dress: c/o eShakti // brooch: thrifted {similar} // necklace: thrifted {vintage} // belt: WHBM {similar} // opal ring: grandma {similar} // pearl bracelet: Premier {similar} // bag: vintage Celine // heels: Valentino // sunnies: Karen Walker
PROS:
- I have to say that it is so well made! The dress is fully lined, and and the seams are nicely finished.
- I like the simplicity of the shape and scalloped hem.
- Additionally, I had it customized by changing the sleeves to a bracelet length. You can change any item to your liking for an additional $7.50.
CONS:
- Because it is felted wool, the dress attracts a lot of lint. You can see in some of the pics.
- Even though I submitted custom measurements, it arrived a little big. It may be because the dress is a slip on so they had to account for my wide shoulders. The pics show extra fabric gathered around the belt line and I showed you a pic without the belt.
Would I order from eShakti again? Definitely! It was nice to custom order my dress! The original dress is on sale for $31.98 here. Right now, they have some gorgeous Spring dresses available!
Just a little about eShakti. Shakti means power in Sanskrit. eShakti therefore means the power of the Net. They believe the internet empowers customers and helps companies be customer-centered. And they were recently featured on Glamour.com.
{Disclaimer: I received the dress complimentary of eShakti. However, all opinions, styling, and pictures are my own!}
