This past weekend was GORGEOUS!!! It definitely felt like Spring, and that calls for BRIGHT COLORS in my books! It was especially nice because Mr. S was home – he’s been busy with work and getting home late as well as traveling lately. We got to have FAMILY time, which is my fave! We took advantage of the weather and went for long walks both days! So nice to get some vitamin D!
We also made a quick trip to Dallas to the Dwell with Dignity Thrift Studio to look at a chandelier possibility for our new entryway. In case you aren’t familiar with that organization, they help those less fortunate by “inspiring by design”. Twice a year, they have a Thrift Studio pop up shop with AMAZING vignettes donated by fabulous retailer, interior design groups, etc. All proceeds go towards helping a family get a newly designed home. Their goal is to bring good design to those less fortunate, inspiring them to maintain a standard they can be proud of and thrive in. It’s really quite spectacular.
