THE “IT” JACKET FOR SPRING

Hello, GlamFam! You’ve heard “Pink is the New Black”, but have you heard that the cropped blazer is the new “It” jacket for Spring?! This fabulous bright pink jacket from Express is the baby of those two, and I could not be more excited to share about it! It’s especially timely because the new Barbie movie trailers have premiered just in time for Spring. By the way, I posted about the Barbiecore trend in this blog post.

This stunning blazer is perfect for adding some pizzazz to your everyday wardrobe. The pink color is super trendy right now and of course, cropped blazers are just universally flattering! No matter your body type, the hem of a cropped blazer will end right at your waistline and make it appear smaller. Plus, this blazer is designed with beautiful notch lapels and a single button closure to accentuate your waist even more! I love that this piece is perfect for a girl’s night out, but when you pair it with some slacks and some cute heels it’s also fit for the office!

Not only is this blazer super versatile but it’s also so much fun to style! For my fit, I decided to fully embrace the “Barbie” trend and pair my blazer with some matching pink pants and a white strapless bodysuit. The pants required a little extra height so I decided to wear my platform beige sandals and I added a gorgeous metallic Chanel bag for a little shimmer! Finally, for accessories I layered some gold necklaces, my signature BuDhaGirl bangles(use code STYLEOFSAM), and some fabulous cat-eye sunglasses.

THE STYLE Rx: Kick off Spring fashion season with a bang in this fabulous cropped pink blazer!

Now let’s take a look at the girl’s outfits!

Heather is wearing her “it” jacket for Spring over a white sweetheart top and paired it with some split-hem denim jeans. Then she styled this chic fit with a gold metallic Chanel crossbody bag and matching peep-toe heels! She chose a stunning gold watch, gold necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings for accessories. The perfect elevated casual look!

Next, Cathy complimented her pink blazer with a black and white themed outfit! She’s wearing white jeans, a black and white checkered turtleneck shirt, and a black Chanel belt to tie the outfit together. Then she paired this gorgeous fit with some black heels, a black Chanel handbag, and black aviator sunglasses!

Finally, Natalie styled her blazer with a pair of distressed jeans and a classic white top. Then she styled it with a pair of cute beige sandals and a gorgeous metallic handbag that I absolutely adore! Next, to complete her look, she chose some beautiful gold necklaces, rings and earrings. This casual look would be perfect for a brunch date with your best girls!

Happy Monday GlamFam! SO MUCH has happened since the last blog post! We were in Houston for an extended period of time while Mr. S was recovering from surgery. The whole family was there including the children. We all stayed in ONE ROOM with 2 queen beds at my brother’s house! It’s really quite humorous! Eventually, each parent was sleeping with a child instead of how it started (parents in one bed, kids in the other) because they kept waking each other up. Oh my goodness, my daughter moves SO MUCH when she sleeps. One night, I think she woke me up FIVE times. Anyhow, it was an interesting and fun experience.

I was SO HAPPY to see my brother the whole time. He requested off work to spend time with us with was such a blessing. I cannot wait to see him again soon when my other brother gets married. Anyhow, the re-entry was tough and we are back in the swing of things now. Until the next post!
