ONE DRESS FOUR WAYS

Hello, GlamFam! Can you believe it’s already March?! Springtime is almost here which means it’s finally time to pack away those parkas and dig out your favorite Spring attire. One of my favorite parts about the Winter melting away is that I can finally start wearing dresses again! Today, Chic at Every Age is excited to share with you this beautiful hooded dress by La Peony, a female founded brand. What a perfect time since it’s International Women’s Month!

We love this dress by La Peony because it is easy, comfortable and so versatile. You can wear it as a dress or unzip it and wear it as a chic cardigan! The beautiful design of this hooded dress is the perfect combination of loungewear and streetwear. The material is buttery soft and clings to your body in a perfectly flattering way. Plus, the addition of the tie waist accentuates your feminine curves! I especially love how the two-way zipper allows you to control the depth of the v-neckline and the skirt slit!

La Peony is a sustainable brand based in California started by two best friends who are over 40. They were looking for clothing that makes a woman feel and look good. A lot of their pieces have shapewear built into them (not this dress) so that you can feel confident wearing them around. We got to meet the founders on Zoom, and I love their passion for finding ethically and sustainably sourced materials from around the world.

One of my favorite things about this dress is that it is so much fun to style! For this look, I decided to go for a neutral theme. My dress is a lovely cream color with brown leather trim so I decided to style it with this pair of stunning camel Celina boots by Alma Caso. For my bag, I decided to keep with the neutral theme and chose this beautiful tan Eight Mini bag by X NIHILO. Finally, for accessories, I chose some gold hoop earrings, aviator sunglasses and a bracelet set, a charm bracelet, and bangles all from BuDhaGirl (use code STYLEOFSAM)!

THE STYLE Rx: Add this versatile hooded dress to your Spring wardrobe for endless outfit possibilities!

Now let’s take a look at the girl’s outfits!

Heather is wearing a black version of the dress and styled it with a beautiful black leather jacket and some cute gold heels! For accessories, she chose a black Chanel crossbody bag with gold accents, and gold necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings. This chic outfit is perfect for a night on the town!

Next, Cathy wore her cream-colored dress as a cardigan and layered it over a floral top and some blue jeans. Then she paired this casual fit with some brown booties, a white shoulder bag, and a brown belt that ties in perfectly with the trim on the dress!

Finally, Natalie styled her dress as a cardigan as well and layered it over a pair of sleek black leggings and a tucked loose white top. Then she styled this everyday outfit with a brown belt bag and an amazing pair of chunky white boots that I absolutely adore!

Happy Friday GlamFam! The kids start Spring Break after school this week. This time around, we are just hanging around town bc Mr. S is working. I have to get creative on some activities since MOST places will be so crowded during Spring Break. This weekend, the kids are going camping with Mr. S so I will be researching some fun ideas. If you know any off the top of your head, then please let me know! Until the next post…
