Happy Monday Lovelies! I’m so not ready for Monday, but here it is! One of my easy tricks for looking tres chic in Summer is wearing all white. That’s it! It really does the job! And when you’re wearing a beautifully tailored shirt from Callidae, then you look that much better!
I’ve worn this outfit multiple times because it’s easy (always has to be for me) and looks so fresh for Summer. After wearing it to a TCU music class with Little M years ago, one of the moms stopped me after class. She told me that I inspired her and that she was going to try this outfit! YAY for happy inspiration right?!
THE STYLE Rx: Head-to-Toe white is truly easy peasy and an easy style hack to look chic on the fly. Don’t stress about stains! Just wear washable pieces.
Inevitably, it’s ME who ends up dirtying my white clothing and not the children. LOL!
The show shirt is from the line Callidae, an athluxury brand. You’ve probably heard the name from my social media. We met the founder during our Girls’ trip to LA. Her line started in the equestrian arena and has expanded. She was so sweet to send some beautifully made pieces as a gift.
The show shirt fits so exquisitely because of the trim fit (since it was designed for athletes). It’s a cotton and spandex blend, and I love the detailing on the material. It also has an interchangeable ribbon neck closure so you can coordinate with whatever you are wearing. I swapped the white grosgrain with the taupe pleated ribbon so you could see what I was talking about.
I chose to wear it with flare jeans since they look good on everyone! This would also look great with white skinny jeans and heels for a dressier look. Metallic accessories were easy, and I mixed metals with the gold earring and silver sandals.
So how do you look chic in all white?!
You can accomplish a clean chic look with ANY VERSION of a white top and bottoms. I included another “all white” outfit that I wore for the Rachel Zoe Box of Style x Chic at Every Age event last Wednesday. (Just ignore the mess in the bathroom!) Another example of ALL WHITE = ALL GOOD!
We had a fun weekend celebrating a friend’s third birthday and just relaxing. This week is going to be another busy one. I cannot believe it’s already late June! I’ve got to get my act together to get the kid’s rooms situated upstairs! I’m trying to figure out how to gate a diagonal area. Anyhow, Happy Monday!
