I’m not going to lie.  It’s very easy for me to wear black-on-black.  My brother-in-laws used to call me “The Black Widow” after Jeanette Lee, the famous billiard player.  After that, I quickly added LOTS of color to my wardrobe, but it’s easy for me to go back to my ways!  When I received this neoprene top from French Connection, I tried it with skinny jeans, another skirt, etc. but I LOVED it with a cute BLACK skirt!  {Seriously, SOMEONE has to get this faille bell skirt I found at Last Call!}

The Style Rx:  Wearing black on black is a cinch.  Vary the monochromatic look with different textures like leather, lace, and cotton.  {I’m wearing neoprene and faille.}

Next up… see how I wore the same top and skirt tucked!
