Hello GlamFam! You have asked for looks for less and designer dupes, and I’m here to answer! Your burning questions to find fabulous alternative options for the Mach and Mach Cinderella heels, Gucci boots, and Bottega Veneta stretch sandals are answered! I have some fun bag recommendations for the Gucci Dionysus, Bottega Veneta pouch clutch, and Hermes Kelly bags too! This video was filmed months ago but editing (and time) are always my nemesis. I got some help with video editing (for 2 videos) so here we are!
When I’m not sure about splurging on a designer piece, then sometimes I will purchase a look for less to see how much I wear it. If it’s a lot, then I know that it will be worth the cost per wear.

MACH AND MACH BOW EMBELLISHED CINDERELLA HEELS
When I first laid eyes on them, the Mach & Mach Cinderella heels immediately made me think “ADD TO CART”!!! These were a major splurge for my birthday last year, but not everyone wants to drop $1K on a pair of heels (and I don’t blame them)! If you wait long enough, there will be an “inspired by” piece soon enough. That is definitely the case with these heels.
I found a few of the styles on Public Desire like the Cinderella heel and the Pearl Bow heel. They even have the matching double bow embellished bag! The glitter ankle wrap sandals from Amazon (shown above) are a lower heel and have an interesting clasp fastener that makes it easy to put on and take off. Recently I saw these designer-inspired pairs on the Dillards website too!
I did purchase the Public Desire and Amazon heels to review for you! Both are super comfy, especially with a lower heel, and are worth the $50ish price range!
GUCCI TRIPP LUG SOLE BOOTS
I have a funny story about these boots! Amazon made me do it! LOL! I was on Amazon to purchase something for the kids when this boot popped up as a “You might like!” and it was immediately added to my cart along with whatever I was shopping for at the time. When I went to the Chic at Every Age shoot (picture shown in the first picture), then Cathy asked me how I got the Gucci boots because they were sold out everywhere! WWHHHAAATTTT?!?!? I had no idea these were a dupe to a Gucci boot.
Since I wore them non-stop, I decided to look for the real deal! Anyhow, the main difference besides the price tag is the Gucci pair are made of real leather versus the other is made of vegan leather. Both have that embellished ankle bracelet that is removable and a great/comfy lug sole heel. In the video, you will also see the difference on the bottom of the sole where the Gucci has a really cool snake design.
Both are comfortable and well-worn so go for the one that you like or agree with your wallet!
BOTTEGA VENETA STRETCH SANDALS
I have been obsessed with all of the Bottega Veneta (BV) pieces lately, and simple but chic sandal was one of them. I actually owned the beige-colored look for less before Mr. S gifted me the lavender Bottega pair for Christmas.
Again, the main difference besides the price tag is that the BV pair are made of leather and the other is not. The BV pair have grips on the bottoms of the soles while the other does not (in the video). Both are SUPER COMFY and have been very well-worn in my closet. All in all, one of the best designer dupes!
Again, go with what works for your budget!
GUCCI DIONYSUS BAG
I don’t own the Gucci Dionysus bag, but it is quite a stunner! This leather embossed structured flap bag (currently on sale for $29.99) is actually an Amazon find that looks really similar to the Gucci Dionysus bag! Yes, you read that correctly – AMAZON! In the video, you will see that it has 2 main compartments with a divider, an interior slip pocket, and a zip pocket. In general, it’s a really nice quality leather handbag! That’s the whole point right?
BOTTEGA VENETA POUCH BAG
THIS bag, the Bottega Veneta pouch clutch was a DREAM bag for me! I was able to purchase part of it with a stipend from a past Neiman Marcus campaign. Even though it’s not an everyday bag, it is a fabulous bag. (BTW, I also did a Youtube review video and blog post on this bag.) Besides the Mansur Gavriel cloud clutch as a look for less (but still in the $500ish range), I found some look for less on Amazon! Above, I have a Bottega Veneta chain pouch look for less.
I had purchased the above bag (based on this BV bag) based on a friend’s recommendation for $200, but I wouldn’t recommend spending that much on the bag. It states that it is supposed to be leather, but it appears to be vegan leather (to me). There are quite a few look for less and designer dupes on Amazon that are a better price for a vegan leather bag.
HERMES KELLY BAG
I absolutely ADORE Hermes bags but I know that getting them is nearly impossible. My vintage Hermes kelly was purchased from Luxury Garage Sale over 10+ years ago for a “reasonable” price at that time. Now, these bags are going for 3x their retail value which is INSANE!
Fear not! I found the cutest little Hermes mini kelly dupe for $150. This bag IS made of real leather, is very well made, and comes in 10 colors! I own the pink and brown bag and use them HEAVILY! You also have the fun option of adding initials to the bag!

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON DESIGNER VERSUS LOOK FOR LESS?
Happy Friday GlamFam! The kids are almost out of school for Christmas break so I am trying to get all the things done! I keep trying to get back into a routine at home, but I feel like my schedule is off because of random medical and house appointments! LOL! It’s okay – I’m trying to be dynamic and flexible. I’ve been doing so many “things” to become a better me lately!
First, I am reading this book, “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself” by Dr. Joe Dispenza to try and help with my anger management. Second, I’m doing my morning routine again – 10 push-ups/sit-ups/ jumping jacks, then prayer & meditation. Third, I installed a desk on our Peleton so that I’m moving my body when working on the computer or editing IG reels. I’m trying to make small changes and add them to habits that I already have (called habit stacking).
I realize that I need to take good care of myself in order to be a great mother and wife! I’m DEFINITELY still a work in progress but wanted to share my small wins with you! Until the next post!
