Our friends invited us to their house for a summer BBQ. When we arrived, a cute wreath and announcement caught our eye on the front door. They were expecting a bundle of joy in December! In fact, the due date is on Mr. S’s birthday! (We told them that was a good sign!) So, THAT was our BBQ surprise and this is what I wore!

I really love chunky turquoise jewelry. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m in Texas, and it’s engrained into your head that turquoise is junk gypsy chic (I love junk gypsy jewelry) or if it’s just because I like it! Either way, I have a good amount of turquoise jewelry!
