Welcome to my first assignment for Bloggers Do It Better!! The challenge: A Maxi Skirt. (I’m glad that I reread the assignment because I read Maxi DRESS the first time!) At first, I was disappointed because I forgot that I had a maxi skirt (note to self – donate more clothes) and wasn’t going to shop for an item that I wouldn’t wear very often. Then, I was super pumped once I found it in my drawer! Honestly, this assignment was a challenge. I tend to wear the same outfits over and over but I wanted to do something unique. (I have my usual yellow top and silver shoes/purse that I wear with this skirt.) So, here is my attempt at something different!
I really love the contrasting turquoise, orange, and muted yellow! And the pattern is divine. It reminds me of something that can be found on wallpaper! But I love it!
When I originally read the challenge incorrectly, I thought about this maxi dress given to me by mom. It’s really comfy and BRIGHT! I styled it anyways to show you how it could look like a maxi SKIRT by wearing a T-shirt (knot tied on the side) over the dress.
