It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’re wearing this gorgeous VELVET TOP!
For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!

// love THESE velvet tops! //
Velvet is definitely IN this season and absolutely perfect for the Holidays. A velvet top is a versatile piece that you can wear casually (with jeans) or dressed up (think leather pants or a pencil skirt)! This velvet burn-out top that we’re wearing can be sweet or downright sexy because of its sheerness.
THE STYLE Rx: Velvet is very VOGUE, and you’ll look like a Vixen wherever you’re Visible! LOL! Sorry, I’m a dork and love alliteration!
I LOVE velvet and stripes, but honestly, I was a little concerned that wearing just a bra underneath was pretty risque. Yes, a camisole would have worked, but I wanted to show the gorgeous detail of the velvet and sheer stripes. My solution was to top it with a velvet blazer. Velvet on velvet works right?! LOL! So glad that I am somewhat of a hoarder and my OLD NAVY velvet blazer, circa 2000, is back IN STYLE! Woohoo!
Cathy’s outfit is TDF (to die for) with her plush fur vest, grey skinnies, and AMAZING booties. (You must check out the details on the heel!) Heather was uber chic in those burgundy coated denim skinny jeans. I decided that “black and white is always a good idea” and wore white flare jeans and embellished floral sunglasses. Brooke was looking Haute in her leather leggings and sky-high Choos!
So how would you wear this top!
Happy Friday! Hope everyone has a lovely weekend! Looking forward to some quality family time. xx
