As I walked through the doors of Vintage Martini, this gorgeous orange maxi dress literally was in my face. It was on the front mannequin. According to Ken’s SA, it was vintage Josefa. I resisted taking it to the dressing room, but Ken insisted. I knew that if it fit, it would be mine!

I know it’s September, but I still have loads of Summer outfits left to post so bear with me! (I stocked up on photos before Baby MJ arrived, but I haven’t had a chance to actually write the blog posts!) Plus, it’s STILL hot in Texas!

I’m sure you figured it out. It fit! Oh my gosh, I really could NOT resist. Mind you, this was before I restarted my “clothing diet”. Anyhow, it’s bright, it’s orange, it’s AMAZING!! I’ve never seen anything like it. The detail and embroidery on the dress are insane! This would be perfect for any kind of summer soiree – pool party, picnic, museum visit, or lunch date!

THE STYLE Rx: If you don’t have one, get an ORANGE maxi dress. Orange color psychology is described as uplifting and optimistic! It can add spontaneity and a positive way of looking at life. I can tell you that putting on the dress made me happy in an instant! Plus, you know I love maxi dresses. They are so easy to wear but look like you made an effort.

Technically, you COULD wear this in Winter if you wore a leather moto jacket and boots. It would be a bright Winter outfit – might me a nice change! :)
