Happy Thanksgiving {or Happy Thursday to those overseas}! Hope everyone is enjoying time with family or loved ones. I’m thankful and blessed for so many things. My husband is my rock and my soul. We are polar opposites but, I could not live without him. My pets bring me so much joy. You get a glimpse of them in some of my posts! And my family and friends are responsible for making me the person I am today. They are loving and supportive. And of course, I want to thank all my readers. You are my motivation and inspiration. Blogging has introduced me to so many new friends and opportunities. Thank you.
Since we are on the topic of being thankful, I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you about a wonderful program, Cooking Matters. It’s a six week hands-on course involving volunteer culinary and nutrition instructors who teach adults/families how to make nutritious and delicious meals on a budget. Usually, the family gets a bag of groceries at the end of class so they can cook the same meal at home. I’m lucky to be involved with the program as a class assistant through the Tarrant Area Food Bank and Junior League. {This is what I wore to class the other day.}
In my life, I’ve been helped so many times. It is very fulfilling to give back.
I bet it’s fulfilling indeed! What a great program to be affiliated with Samantha. It feels so good to help out and give back. Love your entire outfit. That sweater is awesome. :D http://sassyuptownchic.blogspot.com/

I completely agree with Sam. I feel that I’ve been very blessed and that it’s time I start giving back. You’re a sweetheart. If it wasn’t for blogging, I would’ve never had the opportunity to meet bloggers like you.
