Black, White, and Bum

This is how I wore my Chanel Bum Bag.  When you think about it, it’s not very wise to wear a WHITE dress with baby in tow.  But I was excited to wear this dress out because of the beautiful weather this past weekend.  It was a great find –$35 y’all– at my beloved, but now defunct, Double Exposure.  It’s been sitting in my closet since May until I recently brought years worth of clothing to the tailor.  Remember my New Year Wardrobe Challenge?

And you cannot go wrong with black and white.  The simple lines on the dress made it really easy to wear a “fancy fanny pack”!  I’ll have to try it a little more casual next time… maybe shorts/skinny jeans and a tee?!  We’ll see how the bum bag hangs lower.  What do you think would work with the bum bag?!

[faqcontent]By the way… If you are in the Dallas Fort Worth area, I’d love to meet you on Thursday evening.  I’m hosting a Studio Scene at Last Call Neiman Marcus Inwood Village in Dallas.  Lots of amazing shopping, sweets, sips, and a giveaway too!  The fun is happening from 5-7pm.  You can reserve a spot by emailing or call 214-350-2744.  Please join me![/faqcontent]

    1. LOL Stacey! Thank you! True, I think it’s more the bag than me that is looking so great! :)

I love your Bisous tee from J Crew. You look so cute and cozy especially with gold polka dot shoes!!! Next week, I have a post in a text tee, but it’s an old tee from Target!

    1. Thank you Mica! Am glad that I nabbed it on ebay!

And loving all your “non-maternity” wear. Thank goodness for stretchy clothes! You are looking great!

    1. Thanks Meg!! I know… the word fanny pack is just ridiculous right?!?

      BTW, LOVE that tartan peplum!!!

  2. What a great hands-free bag – perfect for a mom on the go! I am SO afraid to wear white still – and my baby is 2 years old now haha! That dress is so pretty I might would brave it though…

I’ve got a bunch of clothes sitting by my door to get tailored. I figure if I want to wear them I seriously need to get it done especially before I buy any more new clothes! Thanks for the reminder!

    1. I know Amber! Wearing white with me is always dicey, even without the baby… because I’m such a klutz sometimes!

And you DO need to get to the tailor! When all your clothes are done, it will be like you have a whole new wardrobe!

    1. Thank you Janie!! I know – it’s the kind of “fanny pack” I don’t mind wearing! LOL!
