Prabal Gurung for Target Uniform

I’m embarrassed to tell you how many times Mr. S has asked me to change out of this sweatshirt + boyfriend jeans uniform.  Let me give you a hint – it’s been more than twice in one week.

belt RALPH LAUREN* // earrings FANTASIA // rings OUI ETSY, JCREW // bracelet ANN TAYLOR {similar} //
heels ENZO ANGIOLINI* {similar} // bag CAMBRIDGE SATCHEL CO c/o //
aviator sunglasses RAYBAN // lipstick TOM FORD

It’s hard not to reach for the sweatshirt everyday because 1) it’s a sweatshirt – can you say comfy?! and 2) it’s bright so it’s perfect for the chilly Spring weather.  And then, there are the boyfriend jeans.  They are way too comfy to ever want to wear anything else!  I thought the heels would elevate the outfit to a casual chic, but Mr. S said NOT APPROPRIATE for where we were going.
And the bag is my lucky win from the IFB Conference!!  It came with the pen mark so at least I didn’t have to worry about the first scratch/dent.

Hope everyone’s week is going well.  We’re getting ready for a wedding shower at our house this weekend and trying to get nursery stuff assembled!  Fun and busy times!
P.S.  I didn’t realize my heels are probably a 1/2 size too large until I saw these pics.  They are very comfy though!

  1. Such a nice comfortable outfit Sam! I think you should wear it as much as you want! Nothing wrong with being comfortable and stylish at the same time, hehe.

Congrats on winning the bag too, that’s awesome :)

  2. Grrrrrrr, I’m so mad they didn’t have the sweatshirt at my Target!! It looks great on you, love how you styled it! I did get the sleeveless button down blouse in that same print, though! Can’t wait to pair it with a striped skirt!

  3. Love the outfit on you! I can see why you gravitate to it! I was really interested in picking up a piece or two of the Prabal Gurung collection at Target..but was put off by the scratchiness/itchiness of some of the material used on the tops I was interested in. I didn’t see the sweatshirt though!

  4. haha its a great uniform to have – looks super comfy! But good that the hubby is encouraging you to push your style ;)

  5. Now that the PG stuff has done on sale, I hope I can get my hands on it! I totally see why you would be living in it!

  6. I think I just fell in love with your blog and you ;). I can relate somewhat, I’m currently a P2 and I love it when I run across other bloggers in the medical field. I recently started blogging about style as an outlet from stress from school, so it’s nice to see there is a light when school is over. P.S. I love the medicine cabinet.

  7. I ALWAYS reach for these types of outfits!! I love that we are seeing more “fancy” sweatshirts lately. You look awesome. Great bag, try makeup remover for the pen mark? Maybe a little bit on a q-tip to and rub it lightly over the pen, then try wiping it clean with a tissue? Disclaimer: I have never done this but always figured it may work.
