From Grandma with Love // B&W Suit

It’s Friday.  Thank goodness.  It’s time for another one of Grandma’s delightful outfits!

black and white suit GRANDMA // brooch and ring PREMIER // clutch VINTAGE from MIL {pretty} //
heels CELINE {similar}
Photography by me {you can tell it’s not as awesome as Mr. S or Hilary}
There’s nothing wrong with classic black and white.  Thanks G-ma!  This preppy polyester get-up was calling for a bright pop of color.  Why not add this red vintage clutch given to me by my mother-in-law?  I felt ready for a spot of tea!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!  We’re having a family get together because Mr. S’s little brother is movin’ on up… to the east side.  He’s moving to Florida – it’s happy and sad at the same time.  Then, we’re off to a friend’s ranch.  For those of you headed to SxSW in Austin, HAVE A BLAST!!!  {I need to go at least ONCE in my lifetime.}

  1. I love when black and white is paired with red. Great outfit. Thanks for posting the photos and feel free to drop by me too when you have time.

  2. Dear Sam,
    I’m intrigued by the clothes you’ve inherited from G’ma? Did she make them? She must have had a ga-zillion clothes which she kept in great condition. How did she manage to keep them through the years until you received them?
