From Grandma with Love // Embellished Sweater

Happy Friday!!  Today, I’m going retro with an embellished sweater from Mr. S’s grandmother and mini victory rolls!  You may have seen my instagram pics.

style of sam, blue embellished sweater cardigan, jcrew silver lace skirt, bottega venetta gold heels, tan caviar chanel mini flap, starburst earrings, victory roll curls, pearl ring
sweater FROM G-MA {similar} // skirt JCREW {similar from F21} // earrings THRIFED {similar} //

bag THRIFTED CHANEL {cute from Juicy}

Only the top is from Grandma, and I had the hardest time pairing it with another piece.  In the end, I decided that embellished matches shiny and this pretty lace skirt would do!  I think it would be super cute with some skinnies and heels too.  Next time, next time….
P.S.  You can check out some of my outtakes from this post on my Facebook page. I tagged the consignment shops where I thrifted the Chanel bag and Bottega heels.

I was #pinspired by this picture of victory rolls and red lips.  Lately, I’ve been obsessing over Pinterest.  Spending all my spare time on Pinterest is NOT conducive to getting anything else done!  Must.stop.pin.ning.  Enjoy the weekend and Happy Pinning!

  1. Great pieces, Sam – you look fabulous! I haven’t done victory rolls in quite a while and you remind me to do them again, haha! :-)

  2. I love how you’ve styled this! it’s stunning and perfect with the metallic lace skirt! Is this the skirt you mentioned was similar to the one I have? It does look really similar, I’m just sad I don’t have an embellished top to wear it with now. Really like this outfit, your hair is the perfect finishing touch :)

    1. Yes, nude fishnets are a little more chic than regular nude hose. I LOVE THEM, but they’re a little too “out there” for me to wear at the hospital! Have to wear them on my own time!

      And they match EVERYTHING!

  3. omg I LOVE your blog..just sad I didn’t find you sooner! this is such a great look and im obsessed with that sweater! hope u will follow back :)
