Casual Lace

Alrighty y’all, it’s back to regular programming although it was fun to relive our vacation memories.  It seems like only skirts and dresses exist in my wardrobe, but I CAN be casual.  Of course, ask Mr. S and he states there’s a fine line between my casual and casualty.  He usually sees my “casual” at home after work when my hair goes into a messy top bun {what he calls sumo hair} and my comfy clothes {what he calls stretchy pants}!

Lace cut out sweater and Leather trim tank thanks to LNA // LOFT jeans // c/o Kelly Wearstler scarf {similar} // c/o DMSX Jayla boots // c/o Jami Etta earrings // Stella & Dot, thrifted, and c/o ViX suede wrap bracelets // c/o Caravelle by Bulova watch //  Chanel soft and chain bag // Ray Ban aviator sunglasses
You may have seen my instagram pics of this outfit before heading out of the house to run errands.  I love the lace cut outs on the shoulders and elbow – takes the top from plain to urbane {LOL just wanted to rhyme}!  I recently discovered LNA clothing and now am obsessed.  All of the tops are SO SOFT and have the perfect drape.  {Bonus: It’s made in sunny California!}  Don’t you love it when you discover something new and you feel like you’ve hit the jackpot?!  Another case in point, my earrings from Jami… LOTTO!
And I may have spoken too soon about nursery planning.  I need to get the adoption profile book in order first!  Cart – horse?!  Horse – cart?!

P.S.  If you have a chance, vote for me on Lucky here so I have a chance to appear on the homepage!

  1. So exciting (regarding the adoption!) I’ve been away from your blog for a bit but ALWAYS return. So happy to see things are going so well Sam and you look great :)

    1. Thanks Georgina!! I’ve been posting but doing a bad job at visiting everyone else! I’m getting organized though so watch out world! :)

  2. What a gorgeous outfit, Sam. There is not one thing that I don’t love about this and the boots…..sigh….

I wish you were my stylist!

  3. I know what you mean about at home casual…Stretch pants and messy buns all the way lol

I am loving this look because it is sophisticated and simple but the accessories really make it extra special. That Chanel is so lovely and those boots are really cool!

  4. You look beyond beautiful! Love those aviator sunnies on you. I’ve seen LnA tees before and they’re absolutely fantastic. As for the nursery….I’ve learned that I didn’t need THAT much stuff. Ah well… live and learn :P

    1. Good to know about the nursery! And thanks, I’ve had those aviators forever. They’ve been broken for a year, and I finally got it fixed!
