Statement Dress // Faberge Dress Take 2

You saw my Baroque choices for Fall, so it’s no surprise that I fell in love with this Faberge dress when Anna Dello Russo wore it last year. {I nabbed the ready-to-wear version on sale at Neiman Marcus}.  It definitely makes a statement.  And it’s easy to get carried away when we’re inundated with images of massive arm parties, bold accessories, embellished heels, and excess everything.

Mary Katrantzou dress // Anthropologie earrings {similar} // Gifted opal ring {LOVE this one} // MaiTai Cuff // Prada sunglasses and heels {similar from Steve Madden} // Hermes bag
Why make is so complicated?

The Style Rx: Let a statement print dress speak for itself and keep everything else simple or neutral.

I wore this to an award reception for Mr. S.  For the record, I consider leopard print heels a neutral.

1. H&M $34.95 // 2. Mary Katrantzou ‘Powdy’ dress $1215 // 3. ASOS Lipsy dress $67.26 // 4. Karen Millen Pansy dress $235 // 5. Wallis dress $35

Happy Monday Everyone.  Hope your week is off to a great start!
